I woke up and realized it was night and none of my siblings were here. And neither was Slash. I was alone and vulnerable in a car with Axl. Alone.

"Oh, you're up," Axl said pulling into a field.

He turned and saw I was scared and frowned. "I'm not here to hurt you. I wanna help you," he said. "Here's some food," Axl said handing me a box of delicious smelling Mexican food. My mouth watered and I took it from Axl.

"You do know how to take, Logan, you're sister says you talk to them and I'm here to listen," Axl said.

"Tell me about yourself first. And I mean the deep parts," I said.

"I was abused a lot as a kid. My dad also abducted and abused me," Axl said. "What about you?"

"My dad died and my mom and uncle's told me to stop crying because I was old enough to be a man," I said.

"I'm so sorry, Jason, you know, you can tell me anything!" Axl said.

"I wouldn't wanna do that," I mumbled. "Why?" Axl asked. "You mean to foster us not to keep us. Why would i open up to someone who has no means on staying in my life. I'll go with you, but I'm not going to open up!" I blurted out. "But you'll talk right?" Axl's asked. I crossed my arms and zipped my lips. Axl sighed. "You're siblings are at my house. You're clothes are in the guest room to the right," Axl said as he pulled into the driveway and left me in the car.

I know he's upset that I refuse to tell him anything but I just don't see the need in telling someone the story of my life if he isn't going to be in my life forever.

AXL

I woke up the next day and noticed both the girls in my bed after they had nightmares about home.

Natalia was spread out like a starfish her leg and arm on my chest and stomach.

Valery had herself wrapped around me like a koala.

I slowly rose out of the bed without waking the girl and pushed Valery's wheelchair closer to the bed and walked to the guest room.

Logan wasn't there.

I ran all over the house looking for him but I couldn't find him.

I ran outside and saw that Logan was sleeping on the backseats of my car.

Damn this kid.

I opened the door and scooped him into my arms and brought him to the guest room where I laid him down and brought the covers up to his chin and saw a smile appear on his face before walking out of the room.

LOGAN

Maybe he isn't so bad, I thought as I fell asleep finally comfortable and happy.

Then I remembered.

He isn't here to stay.
