Each sample of magic semi-fluid matter was injected with DNA. All of them failed.
Water? Evaporated.
Fire? Distinguished.
Snow? Melted.
All of the major elemental magic couldn't even withstand the DNA for a second
And the Boss? He's fuming.
I don't know what he expects from us anymore; we tried all the elements
Minor and major, hell even the in-betweens. There's nothing we can obtain from this experiment. It should've been deemed a failure a long, long time ago.
But no, he insists that it will work
The whole Lab's spark has disappeared
If this keeps going I swear, he might actually drain the whole lab's magic
...
It's weird.. this whole thing.
He hasn't told anyone why he wanted to conduct this assessment, which is suspicious in itself..
Even his own son started to question him on his intentions
...
*heavy sigh*
I've lost all hope in this hellhole.
This has gone on too long now, to the point he's keeping us from seeing our families
That's where I'm drawing the line.
I'm quitting. And hopefully the rest of the scientists find the heart to leave too.
