Mabel Tries to Erase my Memory

Mabel awakes to two things: Sunlight filtering in her room and my passed out body next to her bed with an open sharpie in my hand. Mabel looks down, calculating on how she should get out of bed without disturbing me. She eventually decides that it would be an impossible feat.

"(Y/N)!" Mabel nudges her foot against my body, "You can't sleep in my bed!"

I open my eyes to the noise. The room is very bright. I don't even know what room this is, or who I'm looking at. I look at the woman's cheek to see "Bill's Hostage." I try to stifle a laugh. There are little Bills all over Mabel's face, even one with a twirly mustache and a monocle!

"Sorry, sorry," I say. I scramble out of Mabel's way and drop the sharpie. Mabel leaves the room. In a few minutes, Mabel's scream can be heard from the bathroom. Dipper springs out of bed.

"Mabel!!!" Dipper sprints down the stairs. I step out of their room, having no choice but to laugh. I can hear Bill cackle in my mind. I go down the stairs, quietly greeting the Stans in the living room as I pass them. I make it to the kitchen where Melody and Soos are bantering over who should be making what today.

"You two should fight to the death over it," I say as I grab a banana from the fruit bowl and unpeel it from the correct end. The couple looks at me with faces that are anything but happy or amused.

"Kill my wife?!" Soos reacts, "Not a rad idea, dawg. Not a rad idea."

"(Y/N), we all love a good joke, but dark humor isn't for everyone," Melody says, "Being so reckless with what you're into is why you're staying here in the first place."

I sigh, nodding my head and taking a bite from the banana, "At least Dipper is more relaxed around me now." I walk out of the kitchen and go back up into the attic. The twins are still gone, good. They won't realize I left to grab a banana. I'm not as worried about being down without a chaperone around Dipper as I am with Mabel, though.

Well, that was the case before I saw a shaken up Mabel and an angered Dipper come up the stairs. Mabel has her face clean from sharpie marks, with tears stored up since what Bill calls "the best time in Gravity Falls history" years ago. Dipper scowls at me as he takes Mabel to their room to calm down nerves.

"Now that's how you give vengeance!" Bill cackles in my head.

"Bill, what the hell?" That is all I need to say.

"That was my best prank yet, Dove. You barely contained a snicker!" Bill protests.

"Look, I don't mind dark pranks," I try to refrain myself from yelling, "And I thought that the doodles wouldn't emotionally damage Mabel, but what you did was way out of line. You won't have a 'Dove' for much longer if you keep triggering trauma." To prove my point, I mentally block all of Bill's angered "you don't mean thats" and other desperate attempts to get me to change my mind. Our mind? I don't know. All I know is that I dread the twins' door opening.

Alas, that door opening and Dipper storming up to me is inevitable. I face a very angry adult who is either going to order for another sleepover or suspect that I'm an evil demon again.

"What's wrong with you, man?" Dipper starts, "Right when I almost had you marked as clear, you went on to be cruel to Mabel. You owe my sister more than an apology." I get pushed towards the door before Dipper goes down the stairs.

I stare at the door, feeling my body tremble. None of this is my fault, but I can't tell them that Bill was the one who doodled all over Mabel's face. Not only would the only being who understands me get killed, but I have no idea what horrible fate would wait for me.

I swallow back my fear and whisper to Bill, "You better come up with a genuine apology and tell me it as I walk through that door."

I'm not surprised that Bill said that this is too "fun." I sigh and sit at the other side of the room. Mabel is curled up into the fetal position with her sweater over her head.
