"Rydel Ratliff-Lynch," A nurse said from the door way. Ellington and I stood up and followed back to one of the rooms.
"I'm going to let the doctor know you are here, while I do that go ahead and change into these," The nurse said and handed me puffy pants and a robe. I quickly changed and handed Ell my clothes. The doctor walked in and did stuff on her computer before she started talking.
"Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Ratliff-Lynch," She said, "I am Dr. Kaolin. So I understand you are 3 months pregnant?"
"Yes indeed," I smile to Ellington and look back at the doctor.
"Okay," Dr. Kaolin types something into her computer then starts setting up the equipment, "So today we are just going to do an ultrasound to check up on the baby. Have you been pregnant before?"
"Yes. We have a little girl who is 8 going on 9 in the summer," I reply.
"Alright, so I'm going to have you lay back," She says. I lay back and she lifts my shirt, "So I'm going to spreading on this jelly. It will be a little cold and then I'll show you your baby." I nod and the feeling of the cold jelly is across my stomach. She turns on the monitor and starts moving the wand around my stomach. Eventually we see the 3 month pregnant baby.
"Aww," I sigh quietly. It's been too long since I got to do this.
"Yes, well the baby looks very healthy. I can't see what sex it is yet but in a couple months I should be able to tell you if you would like," Dr. Kaolin says while still moving the wand around, "I'm going to prescribe you some daily medication to take to make sure the baby stays healthy and everything goes as should. You should be able to get it in about an hour." She types away at her keyboard then starts cleaning things up.
"When would the next appointment be? I'm actually going on tour in mid July and it ends back here in LA in November," I tell the doctor.
"Well we should probably schedule something before you go on the tour and then right when you come back to LA. However with you going on a tour you need to make sure you don't do anything to drastic that could hurt the baby. No stunts," She states making sure I get the point. I nod and she goes back to talking, "Here the paper with the prescription, pick it up in about and hour. I'll leave you to get dressed and have a wonderful day." She left the room and I quickly changed and we left the hospital.
"It's been a fun day so far, yes?" Ellington asks.
"Yes, it has," I giggle as Ell and I walk out of the hospital.
A/N WASSUP? So I've been gone for like 2 weeks. OMG Like What?!??! So I just haven't been updating and I'll tell you why. YouTube, Other Books, and Softball. Those are the things that have been distracting me. Yeah. I'm sorry I'll try to update more when I have time. Hopefully I will get another chapter out but I don't know.
