Taismo: Cosmo's change

Chapter 9

When finally Sonic and Amy vented out all their emotions, they could break the hug with Tails, they took him up and hugged him again, this time normally, not like an assault.

Sonic: "Tails, I cannot believe you're still alive..."
Amy: "...How's it possible Tails?"
Tails started answering: "Well, I... received... a little help."

Sonic and Amy didn't understand: "What do you mean Tails?"
Tails: "Cosmo... she..."
Sonic: "Tails, I'm so sorry for you."
Tails: "No, you don't understand..." then he looked behind them, and with a smile said: "...but soon you will."

Tails broke that hug, and once he did they felt the same thing that Tails felt that time, some plant vines tried to grab them.

Sonic and Amy panicked immediately, they didn't know what to think, but they immediately fought back.
Tails was smiling because they looked like him, it was a repeated scene, instead Sonic and Amy were scared, they even thought that it was Eggman's plan and that Tails was a robot, until...

Tails: "Guys, calm down."
Amy yelled: "GET OFF OF ME!"
And that plant vine started retreating, leaving Amy free, she was wordless and Sonic noticed that, he was wordless too.

Sonic stopped struggling, and felt that plant vine hugging him softly, something really pleasant.
Sonic: "Tails, can you explain us what's happening?"
Tails: "I told you... Cosmo, she never left us."
Sonic: "Can I get free too?"

And the plant vine allowed him to go, Sonic and Amy required more explaining, and Tails told them what happened to him, it sounded impossible, but they knew it was true.

Once Tails ended, he couldn't hold his tears and said: "I just wish her back the sooner possible."
Cosmo then grew a big plant vine he could hug and so he did, then she hugged him back.

Sonic and Amy wanted to help Tails feeling better, so they joined the hug and the plant vines made that hug bigger.

After a bit they felt their stomachs rumbling, Amy had a little idea, she said: "I know what we can do now... wait here."
She left that hug and went inside home, Tails and Sonic waited her outside.

Meanwhile they started talking with Cosmo too, until Amy got back out with a sheet and some food, she setted everything and now everyone understood what she had in mind.

It was dinner time, and she just prepared a nice pic-nic for everybody, so they could eat outside in Cosmo's company.
Tails hugged Amy tight, loving her idea, then they ate their dinner.

When it was bed time, Tails left heading home, he headed for his bedroom and tried to fall asleep on his bed.
But once he got under the sheets, he did like he was used to do, he headed for the other side of that bed and hugged Cosmo, but she wasn't there.

He accepted that she wasn't there, but his habit of hugging her couldn't allow him to sleep, he needed her close.

Eventually he realized and said: "I cannot sleep like this! Cosmo, I'm coming."
He opened the wardrobe and took a sheet, then he headed outside.

He found a suitable place, then he lied down and covered himself with the sheet, he decided that he was going to sleep outside.
He still felt hard not being able to cuddle Cosmo while sleeping, he didn't have a pillow, the "mattress" was too hard for him and it was really cold.
But he could feel himself closer to Cosmo, he did his best and felt himself lighter, he was getting asleep.

Before he could get asleep, he felt something strange on his sheet, he touched it quite worried, it was a plant vine.
Then he felt it again and again, there were many plant vines covering him in a warm embrace, he felt much better.
Then another plant vine grow under his head, it was supposed to be a pillow, but it wasn't really good.

Tails: "Not the best pillow, but better than nothing, Thanks Cosmo, this bed is nicely warm and wonderful... now please, join me." and placed his arm on his side, like if he was hugging her, of course he wasn't so it landed on the ground.
He felt a big plant vine getting there, so he raised his arm, then he dropped it and relaxed himself, he felt Cosmo next to him, so he got asleep almost immediately.

When it was sunrise, Tails got awakened by the light, he wished to sleep more than that because, in his dream, he had Cosmo to hug and kiss as much as he wanted to, but the lights weren't allowing him.

He took his time to open his eyes and to wake up correctly, so before opening eyes he stretched himself for good and quite easily. (the plant vines weren't blocking him at all.)
Once he stretched himself, the plant vines retreated, and he felt another of them getting on top of his sheets, very close to him.

This last one wasn't covering him, it was in a vertical position compared to Tails, it even had his weight on the sheet.
He felt a plant vine softly caressing his cheek, he was loving that situation, it really felt like Cosmo was close to him.

Tails said: "Thank you Cosmo, I slept so good with you."
Once he ended, Cosmo kissed him on the forehead and said: "You're welcome Tails."
Tails got astonished, he opened wide his eyes and saw, it wasn't a plant vine, she was actually there with him, he hugged her tight and started kissing her the most deep he could.
