Taismo: Cosmo's change

Chapter 10

Tails and Cosmo broke their hug after a bit, Both of them were quivering for cold.
Tails was so happy to see that Cosmo was already back with him, but they had to warm themselves, so they got back inside their house.

Tails took the sheet and brought it immediately in the bathroom, so it was ready for the laundry, then he took from the wardrobe a clean sheet and reached Cosmo in the living room.

Cosmo already lighted the fireplace, she was there sitting close to it, in order to warm herself.
Tails saw her with a smile, he reached her from behind and opened the sheet, he covered himself and sat close to her, sharing the sheet with her.

Cosmo was trembling, until Tails covered her, she got surprised by that.
She looked him with a smile and hugged him saying: "Thank you Tails."
Tails smiled and said: "No problem Cosmo, let's warm up."

They hugged even closer while trying to warm off their chilling, they could feel it leaving them slowly.

Meanwhile Tails caressed her softly saying: "I'm so glad you're already back with me."
Cosmo: "So I am, I was feeling like I left you... I didn't like it at all."
Tails: "I'm glad you didn't."
Cosmo: "I didn't want to keep this body, but leaving you would have been far worse."

Tails got curious after hearing this, so he asked: "What can you tell me now about your body?"
Cosmo: "Well, I think it's a bit less terrible than before, but I'm still stuck in a body I don't like."
Tails: "I'm sure you'll change your mind."
Cosmo: "I hope so."

Tails grabbed her dress and asked: "What is this now?"
Cosmo: "It's only a dress Tails, I can take it off like the jacket you gave me time ago."
Tails was very happy to hear this, but he hid it.

Tails took the sheet off of him and placed it on Cosmo, then he got up and stretched himself saying: "I'm feeling MUCH better now, what about you?"
Cosmo: "I'm feeling really bad Tails."
Tails got worried and asked: "What?"
Cosmo: "I don't know Tails, I'm feeling something here inside my belly."
Tails: "What do you feel?"
Cosmo: "Like if something's pushing it from inside, it's quite annoying, it hurts a bit and it's always getting worse."

Tails understood and remembered that she never had to do it, so he smiled and said: "Come with me Cosmo."
He took her up and brought her inside the bathroom, then he said what to do.
Tails felt quite weird, but eventually he said everything and left, allowing Cosmo to free herself (She never used the toilette before.).

Once she left, she felt much better and thanked Tails.
Cosmo now was feeling infinitely much better, so she said: "To thank you, I'll prepare a nice breakfast."
So she headed in the kitchen and prepared the breakfast for them, then they ate it.
Meanwhile Tails explained her more about Mobians' body (or the normal body we all know).

When they ended eating Tails still had so much to say, so Tails invited her to take a bath on their new hot tub, so they could relax and talk more, but just before he turned it on he remembered they have no clothes for her at all, meaning no swimsuit too.

So he changed plans and told her what they had to do, Cosmo trusted him and followed him outside.
Tails brought her to a clothing store.
While they were going there, Tails explained her everything and she said she didn't want to buy anything, she was already wearing her favourite dress.

Tails: "I know Cosmo, but you cannot wear only this dress, you need something to dress for sleeping and something adapt to get wet.
Not only that, I guess that now you'll have to learn all our uses, so... well, how to say... that dress will get dirty just because you wear it.
I'll wash it and you'll be able to wear it again, but you need a substitute while I do that."

Cosmo insisted, she didn't want to change her dress, but Tails begged her to trust him, and so she did.

They finally reached the clothing store, Tails looked all around that shop and Cosmo found some dresses that could make her satisfied
Tails couldn't be more happy to buy them for her, then he told her to look for underwears and a swimsuit too.
Eventually they bought some underwear, a swimsuit (and while she was wearing them, Tails was wordless, he thought she was hot) and a few more clothes.
Cosmo still insisted that she wasn't going to wear them, she only made Tails happy.

Then they headed back home, and Tails explained her more about her new body, including the famous once in a month time for every female.

Cosmo didn't like to hear that, but since it was her new lifestyle, she had to get used to that, Tails assured that getting used to that lifestyle wouldn't have been so horrible.

However, Cosmo couldn't complain too much, her new ability to "control" plants was something great, Tails asked her more and she explained him everything that she knew.

Cosmo: "I'm now able to feel everything much easier, before I had to touch the ground with my hand, and still I couldn't feel so much. Now I can feel more even while I'm standing still."
Tails was glad to see her so happy, but he wasn't understanding what she meant with "feel, so he asked: "Can you be more specific? Feel what?"
Cosmo: "I can feel plants talking to me, They're so kind... they loved me from the very first moment they met me, one of the reasons is that I always took care of them."

Tails smiled and said: "So this is your new power, talking with plants? How did you do those roots thing yesterday?"
Cosmo: "Those were plant vines Tails, there's much difference."
Tails: "Ok, but how did you do that?"

Cosmo smiled and said: "I did nothing Tails"
Tails: "WHAT?"
Cosmo: "I only asked them to help me by covering you."
Tails: "Only asked? You mean that I could ask them something too?"
Cosmo: "I guess you can, but do you know their language? Can you feel them like I do? We both know you can't."

Tails: "I'm getting always more curious, Why did they help you?"
Cosmo closed her eyes for a bit, then she said: "They said there's a limitless quantity of reasons: They think to me like their queen, those missiles would have killed many plants whether they'd protect you or not, being in contact with you and our friends wouldn't have been dangerous, They say I'm the first plant who know what's right and what's wrong, who's an enemy and who's not..."

Then she got close to a tree, she caressed it and said: "But the main reason is that they're so kind, they want to repay all these years that me and our daughter took good care of them."

They finally reached their house, now their new situation was 100% clear.
Tails invited her inside and said: "Would you like to relax with me in our hot tub Cosmo?"
Cosmo smiled and said: "Sure Tails."

They were slowly walking inside, when they heard an explosion, they panicked immediately.
Tails asked: "WHAT WAS THAT?"
Cosmo was touching the ground with her hand, then she pointed a way and said: "I guess it's Eggman, THAT WAY!"

Tails threw the shopping bag inside their house, closed the door and called the Tornado.
Once it got there he jumped inside and said: "Hop in Cosmo, we'll get there immediately!"
Cosmo said: "Thanks Tails, but we'll meet eachother there." and she got eaten in a second by the ground, Tails got astonished.

He panicked by reaction for her, but he decided to calm down saying: "I guess she did it on purpose and she know what she's doing, it's not like the last time, I'll find out later."
He took off immediately, worried for what Eggman was doing.
