Part 25

RECAP

He was about to say something else but was cut off by the bell indicating it was time for our first class.
He led me out of the empty classroom and we walked to our class with a funny feeling of butterflies in my stomach.

Oh my god what is happening right now.

Ashley's POV

I can feel all eyes turn to me as Payton opens the door of the class for me to walk in.  I held my head down taking my seat as Payton took his behind and I ignore the whispers through out the class, focusing on the teacher.

Time Skip

Lunch came very quickly and now Chase, Payton and I are walking to the cafeteria. They have been following me around all morning which I don't mind but what I do mind is the constant bickering between them and I have now learned to zone out when I'm near them.

C: why are you walking with us to lunch?
He asked Payton with a smirk forming on his lips.

Maybe I should get dogs...... at least they won't argue constantly In my ears.

P: because we're going to the same place.
He said not sparing Chase a glance.

C: are you sure?
He with the smirk still printed on his face

P: what are you implying?
He asked finally looking at Chase.

C: just admit that you like her already.
He said in a frustrating tone which caused Payton to look at you in a fast movement but was relieved to see that you weren't paying attention.

P: don't talk so loud people might hear you.
He yelled at Chase in a hushed tone.

C: I'm just saying, because if you don't confess to her soon I might have to do it for you.
He said in a cheeky tone.

As Payton was about to reply Chase cut him off by grabbing my hand breaking me out of my thoughts and began to do a fast walk the rest of the way to the cafeteria.
Once we got to our table in the cafeteria we sat down and everyone was there per usual and Payton walked in a minute after us and sat down right across from me.
Everyone at the table began to talk about something......I wasn't paying attention...... But as I was eating I felt eyes on me.  I look up to be met with a pair of brown eyes, almost like they were observing me. I quickly look down as our eyes met praying that he would stop soon.

The little prick is still staring at me, I can't even eat in peace anymore.

I didn't want to sit here for him to stare at me anymore, so I pulled out my phone and text Chase that I'm going to the bathroom.
I sent the message and signaled for him to look at his phone, He read the message and started to type.

C: can I come?

What the f- 

A: No.              

I put my phone back in my pocket and started walking out the cafeteria. It wasn't long after I started my walk I heard someone running up behind me.
