I got to my locker and did my thing and locked it and as I turned around I saw........

....... Payton, yep I saw Payton just my luck.

P: Hey mute!
He yells as he walks quickly towards me

Do you hear anything
I thought to myself as I turned to the opposite direction and started walking fast.

He then started sprinting towards me and caught up to me and held my wrist and slammed my back into the lockers.

P: didn't you hear me calling you
He said yelling at me and looking straight into my eyes. But I didn't answer him.

P: I don't like being ignored
He shouted once again and I started to shake because I was scared.
Thank God that no one was in the hallway at that time.
I finally jerked my hand out of his grip and ran with hand once again bruised.

I ran around the corner of the hallway and bumped into someone and fell on the ground.
I look up to see...... Chase.

Why are these people at school so EARLY!

C: oh, hi Ashley sorry about that.
He said while helping me up with his perfect smile plastered on his face.

C: why are you running you know class hasn't start yet right?

He looks down at my hands and noticed the bruises on the both of them and his smile instantly drops.

C: what happened to your wrists? He asked with a serious face.
And at that moment Payton came around the corner looking furious but when he saw Chase his face dropped.
Chase looked at my wrist and back to Payton and I could tell he knew what happened by just looking at us and he was mad.

C: you did this to her didn't you
He said point at payton.

P: yeah so?

Chase was marching up to Payton when the bell rings which indicates that our first class is starting.

C: Saved by the bell.
He said as he walked back to me and gently grabbed my hand and walked us to our first lesson.

C: Ashley I'm really sorry about Payton, he has always been like this but once you get to know him he isn't that bad.
And after he said that we continued to walk in dead silence which was weird.

(Skip to lunch)

Me and Chase were walking to lunch and was in his fun mood again and was talking about some funny stuff.
Not gonna lie I wanted to laugh so bad

Chase the leads me to his regular table and we sat down with his friends but Payton wasn't there.
I got to know Avani more and she was really nice. A few minutes of them joking around we heard screaming from the entrance of the cafeteria.
I turned around and saw the one and only Payton moormeier.
The girl had tears streaming down her face and Payton was there shouting at her and then pushed her to the ground. The girl got up and ran out of the cafeteria.
Payton turn around and looked at everyone in the cafeteria and everyone went back to what they were doing.

Payton then turned around and made eye contact with me but I instantly looked down and continue to eat.
He slowly walked over to the table and sat down and soon after said........
