He was about to speak again but stopped himself once we heard foot steps.

We both turned our heads to see Payton who seemed to be listening to our conversation, walking towards us calmly.........very calmly.

P: so..
He paused

P: who are we talking about?
He said looking Chase dead in the eyes.

C: this is none of your b-
Chase tried to say but was cut off.

P: that's not the answer I was looking for.
He said walking closer to Chase.

C: are you trying to piss me off more than I already am.

Now they were just staring at each other like they want to rip the other one's head off.
I pulled on one of Chase's sleeve signaling for him to stop.....but it didn't work.

I just want to go home and get away from this hellhole and eat some pizza........
pizza sounds so good right now.

P: who.touched.her?
He said but paused after every word to sound more intimidating.

Chase did nothing but merely smirked.

At this point I was zoned out of this whole conversation... I tend to lose focus alot.......

Chase started to chuckle and Payton looked at him as if he was crazy.

I should order some pizza when I get home.

P: what's wrong with you?
He said confused.

C: oh Payton you have grown so much.
He said with a huge smile despite the terrible mood he's in.

Maybe I should order pepperoni.

P: what
He said sounding irritated.

C: you actually care about someone, you like her don't you
He said smugly.
But stop once Payton slapped his hand over Chase's mouth and snapped his head towards you to see if you were listening.

No I think l want cheese.

C: oh please she stopped listening
a minute ago.
He said pushing Payton away.

P: I don't like her
He muttered out irritated

C: oh well, you couldn't get her anyways.
He said casually looking away from Payton.

Maybe I should just get a donut.

My thoughts were cut off by Chase pulling me by my wrist towards our next class, followed by Payton screaming from down the hallway.

P: WHAT!
