I then laid on my bed thinking about what will happen tomorrow until I fell asleep.

Payton's POV

Why am I still here, I have been staring at her closed door for the past 5 minutes and my body is telling me to knock again just to hear her sweet voice. But I am suddenly awaken back to reality by the urge to punch someone.

As I'm walking down the stairs fuming I hear Chase and Harvey talking.

C: why would you even think about saying that, this is the exact reason why she begged me not to say anything to you!
Chase shouted in an angry tone.

H: why would she even want to keep this from me!
Harvey shouted back.

C: because she knew you would act like this and you call yourself a brother?

H: I act like this to protect her an-
I cut him off.

P: so you call her an idiot and mute to protect her?
I asked in a harsh tone.

H: who do you think you're talking to?

C: a bitch

H: shut up and both of you get out of my house!
He shouted

C: gladly
Chase said with a sarcastic smile as I was already walking to the door but not without sending a deadly glare at the bitch in front of me.

Me and Chase decided to go to my house and the walk was quite until Chase spoke.

C: I don't think we should have left her there by herself.

I don't think so either but I'm not in the mood to talk right now.

My mind keeps wondering back to the sound of her beautiful voice.

This girl is going to be the death of me.
I thought to myself.

We got to my house and Chase stayed the night and I went to sleep with her on my mind.

Ashley's POV

I woke up the next morning feeling completely drained but knowing that I have to get up to go to school. I showered, brush my teeth and I just wore a regular hoodie and jeans.
I didn't feel like eating right now so I got my bag and went downstairs to go out the door but was stop by my brother.

H: good morning, I made breakfast.
He said from the kitchen as I continue to walk to the door.

He quickly came and turned my around to face him but I held my head down.

H: aren't you coming to eat?
He ask but I didn't have the courage to talk to him, I couldn't even look him in the eyes.

H: ok, um give me a minute to get ready so I can drop you off at school.
He said and quickly ran upstairs to his room.

But I didn't wait.. I was out the door walking to school, the walk wasn't long anyways.

I got to school, holding my head down as I walk to my locker.
It was still a little early so classes haven't started yet.  I was walking to the bathroom to think for sometime as I was struggling to hold back tears.
As I was walking I am suddenly pulled into a empty classroom by someone.
As we got into the room I turned around to see the person locking  the door, that person who is Payton.

I really don't have the energy for him to bully me right now.

But what he did next shock me.
He came up to me and suddenly pulled me into hug. When he pulled away from the the hug he was still standing very close to me as he brought one of his hands up to hold my cheek as the other was on my waist.

Has he ever heard of personal space....... I'm just saying.

P: are you ok?
He asked sounding concerned? I finally met his eyes and they seemed genuine.

P: me and Chase got here a little early because he was worried about you.... we were worried about you.

Oh wow

He paused for sometime before speaking again.

P: I want to hear your voice again.
He said as our eyes are still locked together.

P: say something, princess.
He said in a gentle voice as his thumb began to stroke my cheek.

I'm enjoying this a little too much.
I thought to myself.

He smiled at me when he saw a blush creeping up on my cheeks.
I immediately break eye contact and mentally curse myself for my red face. He was about to say something else but was cut off by the bell indicating it was time for our first class.
He led me out of the empty classroom and we walked to our class with a funny feeling of butterflies in my stomach.

Oh my god what is happening right now.
