I was then brought out of my thoughts.
M: hey I'm Max. He said with a smirk pretending as if he didn't know me. He then whispered in my ear so only I could hear.
M: this is going to be fun for me but not so much for you.
I was in shock but I still managed to run to my room and locked the door. I sat on the bed and started running through my thoughts.
Why does something mad always happens to ME. I never ask for any......well regarding the fact that I don't talk to anyone except for my brother and par-.......... OMG I haven't seen my parents for days. I am so stressed out right now and all my snacks are finished. I'm just gonna sleep it of.
Harvey's POV
Max went to introduce himself to Ashley but she just stood there froze and it looked as if Max whispered something to her but I didn't know for sure. Then she ran upstairs to her room, I went to go after her but Max stopped me.
M: just let her be she'll be fine.
H: do you know her?
M: yeah we've seen each other at school but she doesn't speak, is something wrong with her? He asked softly as if he cared.
H: it's kinda personal
M: ok
Soon after he went home and I went to bed.

When I was finished getting ready I got a text for Chase asking if I wanted to hangout later and I said sure. I don't know why but I feel like I can trust Chase and I think I'm ready to talk to him.
I went down stairs to see Harvey watching TV.
H: hey Ashley are you ok?
A: why wouldn't I be?
H: you were just acting weird yesterday.
A: can I go out today? I asked trying to change the subject.
H: with who? He asked raising his brow
A: with my friend Chase As I said 'friend' his face lit up as he ran towards me pulling me into a hug.
H: you have a friend that your going out with, I want you to go, you can even stay out with him till midnight! He said filled with excitement as I just laugh.
H: btw Max is coming over today
I just nod and went to the kitchen and made breakfast for my self and went to my room. Two hours later I was going out my room door to go meet Chase at the park but before I leave I went over to Harvey's room to tell him I'm leaving.
Before I could leave strong arms held me by my waist and slammed me into the wall I look up to see.....Max.
M: where you going looking so fine. He said smirking as I tried to get out of his grip and he moved his grip from my waist to my wrist. His grip tighten and I did the next thing that came to my mind......... I kicked him where the sun doesn't shine. He whimpered but didn't let go, instead he lifted his hand and slapped me across the face so hand I fell but before he could do anything else..
H: Max did you find the snacks! He shouted from his room.
M: yeah I'll be up in a minute. He yelled back and then turned to me and said.
M: this isn't over. And walked out of the room. I got up and dried the tears that I didn't know I have and walked out the house.
When I got to the park I saw Chase, he noticed me and smiled but he then suddenly started to frown. He then came over to me with a worried and concerned look.
C: what happened to your face, are you ok? He asked while pulling me into a hug and I was finally ready to give him an answer.
