The Pack

Chapter 1

I wake up in a strange room, the walls black, no light in sight. I look around the room, looking to my right, and I see a boy, staring down at me. I stare into his eyes and I get a tingly feeling in my chest.

Mate.

What the hell was that. I wonder if he felt it to. His eyes widen and he walks towards me. He grabs my hand and I feel the tingly feeling again.

Mate.

"What are you doing?" I say, wondering what the hell that feeling is.

"Mate." He says looking into my eyes. I look at him weirdly.

"What does that mean?" I ask.

"It means we're destined to be together." He says. I snatch my hand out of his. What the hell is this place. Why is he saying we are destined to be together. We only just met each other. He looks hurt at my gesture, but for some reason I can feel his pain. Maybe if I think if something happy he will fell my happiness.

Butterflies. Rainbows. Chocolate.

He smiles. I smile too. I don't know what that was but I think it has something to do with this whole 'mate' thing.

"Thank you." He smiles.

"For what?" I smile back.

"For making me happy." He says. I blush.

"Uhh, can you please tell me what I'm doing here?" I ask and his smile drops. He looks at the ground and starts talking...

"You were brought here by the alpha. He obviously wanted you for something but I don't know what. We all come here for a reason." He says and looks up at me. I stare into his greenish-blueish eyes, they look really beautiful, they can easily distract you. Oh, they're distracting me right now.

"What the hell is an alpha?" I say not looking into his eyes. I don't want to get distracted.

"I know this may sound crazy, but, you're a werewolve." My eyes widen and I feel frightened. I look around the room and find myself looking at the door. I see a man looking through the door. I feel scared and I think my 'mate' can feel it because he comes over to me and grabs my hand.

"Who are you?" I ask looking into my 'mates' eyes. He smiles.

"My names Isaac. I'm a beta which means I'm a werewolve that's in a pack. Sort of. I was bitten when I was 15 and I'm 18 now, I like food and Netflix." He says. I smile widely.

"Well Isaac. I think I know why you're my 'mate'." I say and smile.

"We both like food and Netflix." I say and he laughs.

"What's your name?" He asks me.

"My name is Alison. Oh, I'm 17 by the way." I blush, why am I so stupid all the time? He doesn't care how old I am. I mentally slap myself. He chuckles.

"You know that I can hear your thoughts right?" He says with a playful smirk on his lips. I immediately blush.

"How was I suppose to know that?" I ask him, laughing at myself. "Is it a mate thing?" I ask him.

"No, it's a me thing." He says.

"Well that's cool, I wonder if I have any power." I say.

"Everyone has a power, well the bitten ones have a power, and you and I were bitten so, we have powers. But I don't know what yours is yet, you have to wait." He says. I look at him and smirk.

"What makes you think I got bitten?" I say and he points to my neck.

"I can see the bite marks on your neck." He chuckles. Damnit, I really should think before I speak.

I look back at the door and the man is gone.

"Who was that man?" I ask Isaac, pointing at the door. He looks at my hands and starts to speak...

"That was the Alpha, he wanted to check up on you and see if you were healing properly." He says. I grip his hand tighter, I feel scared when I'm talking to him. I hear Isaac groan. I look at him and realise what I'm doing, I'm nearly crushing his hand. I let go and think of food and Netflix to try make him happy. It works and he smiles.

"How did I do that?" I ask.

"Werewolves have supernatural strength and supernatural abilities." He says. Of course we do.

I yawn. I wonder what the time is. I think to myself.

"It's 9 o'clock at night." Isaac says.

"Thanks, and remind me not to think around you." I smile. He chuckles.

I start drifting into a dream until finally, I do.
