Ch 1: Kazuki Bakugou

Chapter 1: Kazuki Bakugou

His first memory was looking into eyes that matched his own. Two faces that looked mirror perfect and yet the two who shared that face could not be more different. The younger one by an hour suffered from a weak immune system so was in and out of hospitals most of his life. Yet he still strived to work his body and mind to one day become a hero. All him and his twin wanted was to become heroes together.

The day started out like any other. He had a doctor appointment, but it was just his six month check up to make sure things were still going well. All things went well. He got his blood booster infusion. It made him tired but he could still hang out with his brother. They were to help boost his immune system and push his own system to make more white blood cells to fight off infections and viruses. Now he struggled for air. His body was surrounded by some kind of slime creature. His quirk seemed to be useless against this thing with no solid body. He heard his twin's voice calling his name.

"KAZUKI!!!" his twin yelled trying to come to his rescue, only to get caught in the slime himself. Now both were back to back struggling in this awful smelling and tasting villain. He did not know what they were going to do. The edges of his eyesight were beginning to dim and blur. He needed air and he needed it quickly. Not like this Kazuki thought. I know one day I will die but do not let it be like this. He was close to blacking out when the slime was ripped away from his face. He gasped in large gulps of air. He looked up and saw a familiar green haired boy.

"Izu?" Kazuki asked, confused , only to have his mouth covered again. He struggled against the slime, weakening quickly. He felt a strong grip on his arm and suddenly the slime was flying off of them from a super gust of wind. As soon as he was free he fell to his knees coughing and gasping for air.

"Kazuki! Are you ok?" his twin asked, bending down next to him.

"I am fine Katsuki," Kazuki said. He looked up at his worried older twin. They were identical except for Kazuki's longer hair pulled back into a small ponytail. "Just got to catch my breath." He gave him a weak smile. He leaned against Katsuki while the heros kept praising them for how brave they were. He glanced over and saw Izuku getting scolded for running in to help. He did not think that he would have made it had Izuku not pulled the slime away from his face when Izuku did, he had been about to pass out. It was too long before the heros finally let them leave. They had wanted to fully make sure the twins were ok before letting them leave.

As they were walking home, the twins spotted Izuku running home. He heard Katsuki growl before running forward to yell at the green top.

"Do not think we owe you anything, stupid Deku!" Katsuki yelled at him. "We didn't need the help of some quirkless nobody !" Katsuk turned on his heel and began to walk towards their house. "Lets go Kazu!" Kazuki sighed and shook his head. His twin sure was a prideful hothead. His lips pulled into a small smile, but he loved his twin.

"He will never say it Izuku, but thank you." Kazuki said in a softer tone as he looked at the green top. "I know I truly appreciated your help." He gave the boy a soft smile and turned to follow his twin. He truly meant it. Without Izuku there, it might have ended differently. All those heros did not even try to help them. They wanted to wait for someone with a different quirk to show up and yet scold the only other person to step up to help even if he was quirkless. Kazuki wanted to do more than just become a hero. He wanted to change how things were. He caught up to his twin feeling very tired.

"Are you sure you are ok Kazu?" Katsuki asked in that rare worried and caring tone only Kazuki ever got to hear.

"I am just really tired." Kazuki answered. "All that happened and I got my six month infusion today."
