Kazuki slowly woke up in the nurses station. He blinked a few times before looking around slightly confused. He didn't remember getting knocked out. “God damn it Kats” Kazuki mumbled as he sat up.
“Im right here ya know,” Katsuki said from where he was sitting beside the bed. Kazuki looked over at him.
“And?” Kazuki said as he rubbed the back of his head. “You had to just knock me out huh?”
“You were over exerting yourself over nothing.” Katsuki snapped.
“It isnt nothing.” Kazuki snapped back.
“Then why?” Katsuki asked. “Explain to me why this is so important to you?”
“Why was winning important to you?” Kazuki snapped again. “You really think I want to be seen as the weak one all the time. Im trying to be a god damn hero, like we have dreamed since we were kids. That means Im going to over extend my body. I'm going to get hurt. There is a big chance I could die.” He saw Katsuki flinch at that thought but ignored it. “But here I am still trying. I want to do this. Ive been so adamant about this sports festival because I wanted to show you and our parents that I can do this.”
“You know,” Katsuki started. “I know weve always dreamed of becoming heros, but I think a part of me always assumed youd never make it this far. And I know how that sounds….but its the truth. I never thought youd die or anything, but a part of me didnt think youd be able to get in and do all this.”
“I know,” Kazuki said. “You talk in your sleep, remember?”
“How long have you known?” Katsuki asked.
“Long enough,” Kazuki sighed. “Look Kats, I don't need you to worry about me. Mom does that enough for everyone. But all I need from you is your support. I need my brother to still believe I can become a hero.” They both sat there for a few moments in silence. One brother looking down at his clenched fists and the other watching him. Then Katsuki let out a long deep sigh and looked up at Kazuki.
“I’ll never stop worry about you,” Katsuki said. “But Ive got your back Kazu. Ive always got your back. We will be the greatest heros of all time. You and I together.”
“Thank you, Kats,” Kazuki smiled at him. “That's all I ever wanted from you.”
“Since your being so open,” Katsuki said. “Where have you been running of too?” Kazui let out an exasperated gasp as he laid back down.
“Way to ruin the moment,” Kazuki said. “But still not telling you. I think we are both allowed to have some things the other doesn't know. We are twin but not the same person. Im not your keeper and your not mine.” Katsuki frowned hearing that, but couldnt really argue.
“Fine,” Katsuki grunted. “But if something ever happens to hurt you or bother you, promise you'll share with me? I want to be there for you like youve always been here for me.”
“Yes Kats,” Kazuki smiled. “Who knows maybe one day Ill tell you everything, but right now I like having something thats just me.”
Unknown to either brother, a certain red head was outside the nurses office and heard everything. He had come because he was worried about his friends, but was glad they were able to make up. Seeing Kazuki hurt and beat up like that had stirred up some unsettling emotions, but he just put it off as being worried about his friend.

They had a couple days after the sports festival off from school. Kazuki was walking around his local park under his umbrella as it lightly rained. He smiled lightly at the kids running around playing in the rain before parents called them away to go inside.
