Twin Explosions

Ch 9: Nomu

“It's a pleasure to meet you.” A moving shadow like villain spoke as he appeared before them. Kazuki thought he must have a teleport or portal quirk. “We are the League of Villains. I know it's impolite, but we decided to invite ourselves in to this haven of justice to say hello. And besides, isn't this a fitting place for All Might, the Symbol of Peace, to take his last breath?” The twins glared at the villain as he spoke ill of All Might They both knew All Might wouldn't loose to trash like this. “I believe he was supposed to be here today, and yet I see no sign of him. There must've been some sort of change in plans we could not have foreseen. Ah, well, in the end, I suppose it doesn't matter. I still have a role to play.”

Kazuki and Katsuki jumped forward, attacking the villain. Kazuki swore he felt his fingertips graze something metal as he flew through shadow. Kazuki landed and looked for his brother for a quick second and was semi-surprised to see Kirishima had also attacked. 

“Did ya think we were just gonna stand around and let you tear this place to shreds?” Kirishima yelled.

“We’ll blow you to bits!” Kazuki and Katsuki said in sync.   

“You live up to your school's reputation. But you should be more careful, children. Otherwise, someone might get hurt.” The villain said. 

“You three, get out of the way, right now!” Thirteen yelled holding their hand up ready to release their quirk, black hole. 

“I'll scatter you across this facility to meet my comrades, and your deaths!” The villain yelled as his shadows spread through everyone. The twins yelled for each other when they could no longer see anything. 

Suddenly Kazuki felt himself falling. He used a couple timed explosions to right himself and land relatively fine. He looked around and didn't see his brother, Kirishima, nor any other classmates. 
Kazuki soon realized he was in the landslide zone and was surrounded. 

“Looks like we only got one kid here,” a random villain said. 

“Easy Pickings.” Another said. 

“Easy?” Kazuki growled “As fucking if” Kazuki began blasting around knocking them out or blasting them in the face.  Nothing lethal of course. Just as he was about to finish the last couple, ice suddenly covered them all and the ground. 

“Nice of you to join us, Icyhot,” Kazuki said, turning to look at Todoroki. “Didn’t know you were here or I'd have saved you some bad guys.” He grinned. 

“Bakugou,” Todoroki said.  “Are you hurt?”

“I'm gonna pretend you didn't ask me that Icyhot,” Kazuki grumbled. “I am fine. I took out all these guys if you didn't notice.” He kicked one of the downed villains' boots. 

“I froze some villains on the other side of the landslide zone,” Todoroki said. “One told me that they are here to take out All Might with some plan by the one who was with the portal guy From the information I gathered there is really only a couple really dangerous villains here. Plus they have some….thing to fight All might.”

“Well I guess we should head to the central plaza then,” Kazuki said. “Aizawa might need backup.” Kazuki suddenly looked behind Todoroki with a curious look. He thought he saw something but maybe it was just a villain trying to escape the ice. Kazuki shrugged having thought he saw a floating glove, but maybe he imagined it. A shiver went through him as he was starting to realize just how cold it was. “Fuck  Icyhot. You'd be great as an air conditioner in the summer, but shit this is cold.” 

Todoroki frowned watching him. He found this Bakugou to be weirder than the other one who was mostly just a loud mouth. “You and your brother are very different.”
