The calvary battle was announced as the second event. Now Kazuki was stuck with a choice. Kirishima was in front of him asking him to join Katsuki’s team. On one hand it would save their inevitable fight for the last round. On the other hand he would be helping his brother advance.

“Fine Red,” Kazuki said. “I'll put my anger on the backburner. Only because I want to face my brother in the final round.”

“You know Bakugou is the one who sent me after you,” Kirishima said. “He wants to work with you too.”

“He only sent you because he knew I'd say no to his face,” Kazuki said.

“Come on Kazu,” Kirishima said and threw his arm over Kazuki’s shoulders. “Let's have fun.” They both grinned as they walked over to Katsuki.

“So you said yes,” Katsuki said. “I'm surprised.”

“Oh I only said yes because of Red,” Kazuki said. “So dont think I'm doing this for you.”

“Whatever,” Katsuki said even though he was a bit upset. “I'm the rider. Kirishima is the front horse. We need one more person.” Kazuki looked around   until he spotted the perfect person not on  a team yet.

“I got an idea.” Kazuki said as he turned to walk towards them. “Hey Sero!”

Their team managed to get second place. Only because Todoroki’s team stole Midoirya’s 10 million. As they were released for lunch, Kazuki saw his twin following Midoriya and Todoroki. Being nosy, he followed them too.

Kazuki leaned against the wall near his brother who wasn't happy to see him for once. But didnt say anything because he didn't want to be overheard by the other two. They listened to Todoroki’s speech about his fathers ambition and quirk marriage. Endeavor sounded like an asshole. Kazuki frowned listening to it all. No wonder Todoroki came off like he had a stick up his ass sometimes, look at who he had to live with.

When the conversation was over, Kazuki stood up from the wall and walked away as he thought about what just happened.

“Kazuki wait,” Katsuki said, coming up behind him. “Would you just listen to me for a moment?”

“Im not going to listen to you ask me to bow out of the finals,” Kazuki said as he kept walking. Katsuki grabbed Kazuki’s wrist and made him stop.

“Damnit Kazu,” Katsuki growled. “I just wanted to say good luck. I wont be holding back though.”

“I don't want you to,” Kazuki said. “Come at me with all you got when we face each other.” Kazuki pulled his wrist from his grasp and walked away.

“Who are you texting Kazu?” Kirishima asked.

“Oh some old friends I've had for a few years,” Kazuki said. “I met them as penpals and we just remained friends.”

“That's cool,” Kirishima smiled. “Where do they go to school at?”

“Oh they are upperclassmen here at UA,” Kazuki chuckled.

“Oh you're texting those two,” Katsuki rolled his eyes. He used to get jealous of Kazuki’s pen pals because of how often Kazuki was in the hospital and how much they talked.

“Really?” Kirishima asked, surprised.

“Yea,” Kazuki chuckled. “Ill try to introduce you to them sometime.” Katsuki crossed his arms over his chest and grumbled in his seat. Katsuki didn't even know their real names let alone have met them. Kirishima grinned.

“So are you worried at all about your first match?” Kirishima asked.

“No offense to Aoyama but not really,” Kazuki grinned.  “Not that I think he is weak but because I have confidence in myself.”

“Thats so manly.” Kirishima said.

“What about you?” Kazuki asked.

“Im a little nervous,” Kirishima said. “But more about being in front of everyone not really the fight.”

“Well remember one thing Red,” Kazuki smirked.  “Those watching have no pull on the outcome of the fight. They are just spectators. And who gives a fuck what they think?”

“What about the heros possibly scouting us?” Kirishima asked.

“If they dont like you then they don't deserve you.” Kazuki grinned. “The right hero will try to scout you no matter the outcome of your fight.”

“Thanks Kazu,” Kirishima said.
