7 days left until the sports festival.

Kazuki had been training hard and at times even without Katsuki. Though lately he felt like someone had been watching him and he didn't know who. He wondered if it was one of the extras that had declared war on him and his class the other day. Students all wanting to catch a glimpse of those who survived a villain attack and their competition. Of course the twins were unphased by their words. Actions spoke louder than words for both of them.

Right now Kazuki found himself alone wandering the halls. He had just had another argument with his brother over training and pushing himself too hard. He felt fine. He will be gettin his six month treatment tomorrow and have a few days to recover before the sports festival. Kazuki paused in his walking feeling eyes on him once again. He turned around but saw no one. He thought he heard a voice.

“Whos there?” Kazuki asked.

Kazuki blinked his eyes a few times. He didnt understand how he was suddenly in another room. Was he teleported there? Was it a villain attack?

“Greetings Bakugou,” a vaguely familiar voice said.

“Who the fuck are you and how did I get here?” Kazuki growled. Small explosions popping off in his hands.

“We will get to that later,” the voice said. “I've been watching you and done some digging. I think I may have found something interesting about you.”

“I don't know what you think you know nor do I care,” Kazuki growled. He turned to walk towards the door and leave this bullshit behind.

“You're gay aren't you?” The voice asked amused. Kazuki almost tripped over nothing.

“What e-ever gave y-you that impression?” Kazuki stuttered a bit, trying to play it off unsuccessfully. He did not want to be outed.

“Oh I have my ways of observation,” the voice from the shadows said. Kazuki swore he could make out gravity defying hair in the shadow that was the voice. “Now what to do with the information.”

“Keep it to your damn self or I swear Ill fucking kill you,” Kazuki growled.

“Oh?” The voice asked. “Even if I'm someone else in the school who fully understands what you're feeling?”

“Wait what?” Kazuki asked, confused.

“What if I were to say I also swing that way?” The voice asked. “And I'm also in the closet with you,” he joked. Kazuki didn't really know what to say. He had never actually met anyone else who liked members of the same sex before.

“Really?” Kazuki asked in disbelief. The person came forward and pushed Kazuki up against the door, pinning him there.

“Its a big possibility,” The male said. “Depends on your next answer.”

~~~
“Why are you late to class?” Katsuki growled at his brother.
“I lost track of time,” Kazuki said as he straightened his tie out. He went and sat in his seat. He ignored his brother's stares and also anyone else's.  Katsuki just grumbled and growled. He didn't like that Kazuki was keeping secrets from him.
Class went by slowly the rest of the day.
~~~

“Are you going to tell me what happened?” Katsuki asked as they walked out of the school.

“Tell you about what?” Kazuki asked.

“Why were you late for class after lunch?” Katsuki growled. “And why did you walk off in the first place?”

“Because I'm tired of hearing how you think youre gonna win and then how I should sit it out.” Kazuki snapped at him. “I'm not quitting and I'm going to be doing my absolute best to beat you.”

“Hey why are you guys fighting?” Kirishima asked, walking up to him.

“Stay out of it!” Katsuki yelled at him.

“Don't fucking yell at him.” Kazuki growled. “Least he doesn't look down on me.” He grabbed Kirishima’s wrist and pulled him along as he walked away from his twin.

“Don't walk away from me!” Katsuki yelled but Kazuk just raised his other hand and flipped him off.

“What's going on Kazu?” Kirishima asked when they got far enough away.

“I'm tired of his over protective bullshit.” Kazuki grumbled. “Ive been trying to just be seen as his equal for years. And everyday he spouts off about how he is going to win the damn sports festival and every damn day he tries to get me to not compete.”

“He's just worried about you.” Kirishima said.

“I don't need him to worry about me,” Kazuki said. “I need him to support me.” He said softly.

“Have you told him?” Kirishima asked as he started to walk beside Kazuki instead of behind him.

“I've tried but he doesn't listen.” Kazuki said. “I don't want to be seen as a weakling anymore. I want to be recognized for my own strength and power. Not just hanging out in his shadow. The Sports Festival is my chance to show people what I can do. That I am so much more than my illness.”

“I know you can do it Kazu,” Kirishima said. “Just surviving your illness the way you do shows strength. You're always so manly.”

“Thanks Red,” Kazuki sighed. “I wish more people thought that way other than just you.”

“So what made you late to class?” Kirishima asked. “Im just curious.”

“I made a new friend,” Kazuki said with a soft smile. “We just lost track of time, talking. We have a lot in common.” Kirishima didn't understand the feeling that went through him hearing that or seeing that soft smile. Something about Kazuki was different, he just didn't know how to put it into words.
