"Here at UA, we're not tethered to traditions. That means that I get to run my class however I see fit." A man with long black hair that hung in a wavy mess said. He had introduced himself inside as Shota Aizawa. He had directed them to change into gym uniforms and to head outside. Now they all stood around in a PE area a bit shocked by their new teacher, though the twins weren't fazed much. Kazuki actually thought he recognized the man's name from somewhere. A magazine article or something he thought. "You've been taking standardized tests most of your lives. But you never got to use your Quirks in physical exams before. The country's still trying to pretend we're all created equal by not letting those with the most power excel. It's not rational. One day, the Ministry of Education will learn. Bakugo, you managed to get the most points on the entrance exam."

"Which one of us?" Kazuki asked.
"We tied on the exam," Katsuki added. Aizawa looked between the two of them no longer knowing which one was which. He thought he remembered one of them having longer hair.
"Whichever one of you only got combat points step forward," Aizawa said and Katsuki took a step forward. "What was your farthest distance throw with a softball when you were in Junior High?" He asked.

"Sixty‐seven meters, I think." Katsuki answered. 68 metres Kazuki thought, and mine was 57. Kazuki sighed.

"Right. Try doing it with your Quirk. Anything goes, just stay in the circle. Go on. You're wasting our time." Aizawa stated tiredly.

"All right, man, you asked for it." Katsuki said. He moved into the circle. "I'll add a little heat to my pitch and drop their jaws." Katsuki wound up and launched it with an explosion. "Die!" Kazuki had watched his brother closely for how he had thrown it. He had an idea.

"All of you need to know your maximum capabilities." Aizawa stated. "It's the most rational way of figuring out your potential as a pro hero."

Some of the class gasped at the same time as Aizawa turned a device around that showed his brothers score.  "Whoa, 705 meters, are you kidding me?" Somone said.

"You have three years here to become a hero. You think it's all gonna be games and play time?" Shota Aizawa, their new homeroom teacher, explained with a crazy grin on his face and tired streassed out eyes. "Idiots. Today you'll compete in eight physical tests to gauge your potential. Whoever comes in last has none, and will be expelled immediately."

Kazuki scoffed as othr students began murmuring amongst themselves. There was no way in hell him or his brother would rank low in anything so there was nothing to worry about for them.
"I don't approve of this kind of hazing", four eyes stated. Kazuki and Katsuki rolled their eyes at the same time but in opposite directions.
"Time to blow these nerds away" Katsuki said and grinned.
"Oh it is on like donkey kong," Kazuki grinned.
"Nerd," Katsuki rolled his eyes at his brother. "Bet I rank higher than you."
     "Bet!" Kazuki grinned. "Usual stakes?"
"Oh yes," Katsuki grinned a bit mischiously.
"Now then. We're just wasting time by talking. Let the games begin." Aizawa said.

First up was the 50 meter dash. Katsuki easily beat Midoriya's 7.02 seconds with his own 4.12 seconds. Kazuki had once again studied how Katsuki moved and watched him "fly" across the course. Kazuki walked up as it was his turn and of course he was up against Kirishima.
"Think you got what it takes to beat me?" Kazuki teased. "Huh, Red?"
"Is that all your ever gonna call me?" Kirishima asked.
"It's your nickname," Kazuki grinned. "But if you want me to change it then you got to beat me." The two got into position at the starting point. Kazuki took a deep breath and then slowly released it as he let his body momentarily relax. As soon as the gun went off he shot from his spot. Explosions shooting from his fingertips to focus the blast but instead of lifting off the ground, he ran as well. Both moves increasing his speed and making his time....
"3.55 seconds" the machined beeped. Kazuki stopped his quirk and slid to a stop.
"Yes!" Kazuki cheered. He had beat his brothers time. Katsuki was struggling between being upset his time was beat and happy for his brother. These feelings wouldn't go away through the rest of the assessment.
