Gu Hai was dragged from slumber and into consciousness, he shivered, not because of the chilly wind from the opened window of his room, but from a sudden chilliness inside his body. "Is something happen? Why Do I suddenly feel that something really bad is going to happen? Do something happen to Yinzi?" He unconsciously thought... His heart that was already restless became more unbearable.  He didn't know whether it is day or night, he cannot distinguish the exact time or date. He wasn't certain how many days he has spent in this bemused and hazy frame of mind. The moment he woke up, his head was full of Bai LuoYin again...his agony, his pain, his face... Gu Hai cannot bear it anymore, he dazedly forcing himself to stand up. "Alcohol...I need alcohol...It's the only thing that can make me stop thinking..."  His eyes swept the entire room, looking for the thing he needed the most.  He stumbled upon countless empty bottles in the room. He headed to the fridge, tripped himself couple of times from the trash and bottles only to find out that it was all empty. Frustrated, he crotched himself against the fridge's door and cried. 

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. First, it was slow, then it became more impatient and got louder until it finally was kicked out open with a loud bang. "Bai LuoYin!" A little hope came across Gu Hai's mind. But when he looked up, he find that it wasn't the person he missed the most. "Ge..." he whispered. 

Gu Yang saw the sight of the room then to Gu Hai and hissed, "Pathetic!"

Gu Hai gave a faint smile to his cousin, but his eyes are empty. "Hi Ge, what are you doing here?"

"That's what I was about to ask you! What the hell are you doing looking like this? I know that your brain somewhat lacking but I don't know that you are actually pathetic!"

Gu Hai suddenly laughed like crazy and snorted, "You only found out now? Hahahaha, You  are so stupid Ge, hahahaha...." Tears fell down from his eyes and suddenly he cried again.

"I have enough of this bullshit! I'll take you out of here!" Gu Yang dragged Gu Hai out of his apartment and brought him to his car. Gu Hai didn't even struggle, he was too tired, he just want to sleep... maybe forever... 

The car took them to the airport. Gu Yang dragged Gu Hai to his private plane and stuffed him there. He called Gu Wei Ting and told his uncle that he managed to get Gu Hai and they will be leaving to the US in a minute.  Hearing that conversation Gu hai suddenly woke up from his nightmare and snapped, "Where are you taking me, Ge?"

"United States."

"How about my passport? How about visa?"

"All has been taken care of."

"Who told you to do this? is it my father?"

"Don't you think your father didn't know what you were doing? Do you think he doesn't have ears and eyes everywhere?  Do you really think you can get away with anything without consequences? Moron!!!"

Never in his lifetime Gu Hai saw his beloved cousin enraged like that. He is always well preserved and cold, and never let his emotion be shown. 

"You knew, Ge?" Gu Hai trembled. It's not that he is afraid of his cousin, but he is afraid of what his cousin might do to Bai LuoYin. "I don't want to go. I have to stay in Beijing. Let me out of this plane right now!"

"Of course I know! Your father knows! Why do you think he asked me to come and get you?"

"Don't you dare to touch Bai LuoYin, I will never let you go if you dare lay a finger on him!"

"Why would I want to touch him? I'm not bent like you." Gu Yang lifted a crooked smile, it look terrifying but it somehow eased Gu Hai mind. He knows his cousin well. When he has that expression, it means he really not going to do anything. But Gu Yang next sentence is like a spear hit him directly to his heart. "That boy suffered enough from you, you better stay away from him from now on. You've done enough. Your father will not ask you to enlist anymore. He lost all hope in you. So you better just sit nicely and follow me well."

Gu Hai didn't say anything anymore. He just sits there, more lifeless than before.

At the other part of the city, Gu WeiTing hearing the news from his nephew felt like his world all shattered. He went to Gu Hai's mother's room, looked at her picture, and wept his tears. "Where did I go wrong dear? Not only did he bend that way, but he also did that horrible thing to his stepbrother. Although he always does what he wants, he has never stepped out of the line before. How can I face Jiang Yuan?"  Gu WeiTing stay in that room for 30 more minutes before he finally went out. He went downstairs and saw Jiang Yuan walking through the front door.

Jiang Yuan put her bag on the sofa and said, "Ah you are home already dear? Why you didn't tell me that you will come home early? I was sending Bai LuoYin to the airport. If I knew you will home early I would've returned sooner."  

"How is Bai LuoYin? Is everything alright?" Gu WeiTing smiled at his wife.  

"He wasn't happy when he see me at the airport, you know, the usual. But I'm happy he finally received my offer to go abroad. With his brain, I'm sure he won't have a problem with his study. Do you know he got almost perfect score for his IELTS?" Jiang Yuan proudly flaunts his son.

"I'm sure he got that from you dear" 

"Actually LaoBai is very smart too. He is always the best in the school. But he is too simple. He doesn't know how to use his brain. So I guessed Bai LuoYin got the brain part from his dad, and determination from me, hehehe"

"Hahaha, I'm sure he does."

"How about DaHai dear? Did he finally agree to enlist?"

"He is also leaving today to the United States with his cousin."

"I can't believe the two are finally willing to be apart. I thought Yinzi will choose to go to US, who knows he chose the other part of the world. And I'm surprised DaHai didn't follow him there. You don't think that they were fighting right?"

Gu WeiTing smiled and shook his head. "If only you knew dear, you will also never let Bai LuoYin meet Guhai again." He was only able to answer her silently in his heart.
