Within the past ten days of Kirishima's life, this was the second time he had rushed to Recovery Girl's office. He now sat up on one of the beds within the space, Izuku on his right, a breathing mask on, and an IV attached again to her. Katsuki was on the bed on his left, tears flowing out his eyes constantly and Kirishima would sometimes hear a sob escape his friend's mouth as Katsuki held a hand over his mouth, trying to control himself before his nausea took over him again due to the guilt.
Both of the boys had already vomited their stomachs out when they had come to. Nausea kept building up now and again as flashes of what they saw kept flitting through their minds. Kirishima kept glancing towards Izuku, the green-haired teen had passed out and Recovery Girl had stabilized her in time. The breathing mask was a precautionary measure, the IV was to help the girl recover the stamina Recovery Girl used to heal her. Kirishima took a few calming breaths before he got out of his own bed and walked over to Katsuki's. Katsuki looked at him, scared and frightened; Katsuki knew Kirishima had seen the same things that he had, when "Emote" had hit them both.
Kirishima proceeded to sit by the edge of Katsuki's bed, Katsuki looking away from Kirishima, hiding his face. Kirishima stared at his friend intently, he wanted answers. Katsuki had to take a few calming breaths of his own, before turning his head to look back at Kirishima.
"I screwed up really bad, didn't I?" Katsuki finally asked.
Taking a deep breath, Kirishima answered, "Yes. Yes, you did."
Katsuki's head lowered, breaking the eye contact he had with Kirishima. Silence filled the air around them and Kirishima was about to say something before Katsuki interrupted him.
"I knew," he said, fresh tears flowing, "I knew I was hurting her too much. Seeing those memories again was just a slap to the face. I know. I know. I'm a villain. How could I ever think I was going to be a hero when I tormented the only person out of my family who I loved the most?" he cried.
Kirishima's head quipped up at the end of Katsuki's sentence. He placed a hand on Katsuki's shoulder before asking, "Katsuki, do you really regret everything?"
Katsuki nodded back.
"Do you really love her?"
Nod.
"Do you want to repair your relationship with her?"
Nod again.
"Then," said Kirishima, "Fucking own up to your mistakes, Katsuki Bakugou."
Katsuki's head whipped up, startled at the stern and angry tone of Kirishima's. He sat there stunned as Kirishima continued.
"You may have been a young brat and a terrible bully back then. If you truly want to repair things with Midobro, then stop acting like a crying idiot and actually apologize to her. You are only hurting her more by telling others, by others me, that you want to apologize, and then just sitting around doing nothing." Kirishima puffed out.
Katsuki could only sit there silently.
"You did some terrible things, Bakubro," Kirishima said, this time getting up. "Get your shit straightened out. Otherwise, others won't be as forgiving as me when they find out. You're lucky it was me who got caught in her quirk with you."
Katsuki gave him a nod, as Kirishima plopped back onto his own bed, switching off the night lamp next to his bed and burrowing under his blanket.
That night, Katsuki did not sleep.
---------------*----------------*----------------*-----------------
The next morning, Kirishima and Katsuki left Recovery Girl's office, Izuku still asleep, the breathing mask off. The two walked back to the dorms in silence; Katsuki had bags forming under his eyes with not being able to sleep the night before. The two had almost reached the dorms when they spotted a few people on the walkway towards their dorm building.
Iida, Todoroki, Uraraka, Asui, Mina, Denki, and Sero stood waiting for them.
Right before the group spotted them, angry and concerned voices could be heard arguing within them, it seemed both the groups were in disagreement about something. As the two approached them, they abruptly stopped, all of them staring at the two who had stopped in their own tracks. Todoroki was the first one who stepped forward, grabbing Katsuki's collar, surprising the two.
"Where the fuck is Midoriya, Bakugou?" accused Todoroki. "What did you do to her?!"
Mina interjected from behind, "Todoroki! Stop! Bakubabe wouldn't do anything to her!"
Kirishima stiffened. Oh, how wrong Mina was. Katsuki somehow slumped in Todoroki's hold, letting the half and half boy manhandle him more.
The rest had noticed the change in Kirishima's demeanor and the way Katsuki had slumped. Uraraka who had been quiet till then, asked in a steely voice, "What did you do Bakugou?"
Before Katsuki could say anything, a voice rang out.
"Enough," Said Aizawa. "Shoto, unhand Katsuki now."
Todoroki begrudgingly released Katsuki, anger still evident on his face.
Aizawa sighed. Problem children.
"All of you, back to the dorms. No group engages with the other. Capisce?" he instructed with a finality in his tone and the Izuku squad nodded and walked away, albeit their curiosity, leaving Mina, Denki, and Sero with Katsuki and Kirishima. Aizawa walked away as well, rubbing his forehead, taking a few deep breaths as he headed towards the main school building.
As the five stood there, Mina, Denki, and Sero glanced back and forth between the two boys, waiting. Seeing that they weren't going to talk, it was Denki who then asked.
"You guys? What happened?"
That day the entire Bakusquad heard Katsuki's confession.
Needless to say, they all gave him a piece of their mind, before planning to help him apologize.
That had made Katsuki cry even more. He did not deserve such friends. Izuku was the one who did.
CHAPTER 10 ENDS.
**AN: Three chapters in a day. Phew. Yup, they all know now, and yes, there's no way Katsuki is getting abandoned by them. Katsuki needs a foundation to support him as he sets things right. Also, I am not shipping Katsuki here with Izuku. Yet. I am planning to decide that later on. Also, it's still a girl day for Izuku, she doesn't change her gender every day and mostly sticks to one for certain periods of time. On the days she feels like neither, that's when she lets others know to refer to her as they/them. I'll try lightening the mood in the next chapter a bit, so Stay Tuned!**
