Hey there everyone! My name is Alifiya Shikari, and I am the author of this here book. We are finally at the end, something that fills my heart with happiness and sadness, as endings usually make me feel. The journey that I took with Izuku here in this story is at its end, but it doesn't mean that I will be parting from Izuku any time soon. If you didn't know, I author two other books named "Unsighted" and "Blinded by Hate, Built with Love." So you will definitely be getting more content from me here. I also have a few more shorter story ideas for the future, so you can definitely follow me to be notified when I have a new book out.
This book was inspired by the multiple tiktoks and reels that I had watched on Izuku's relationship with Katsuki. A note of appreciation for those creators. This book is a coming out of sorts for me as well, and I hope that it met the expectations that I wanted to set within you as the reader.
The name of the book is actually a lyric from the song "Rain" from the new Suicide Squad movie which I had been listening to while trying to come up with a name for this book. The moment I heard it, I knew; It just fits.
