Izuku shifted uncomfortably, on their bed, the huge baby bump obstructed their vision in front of them as they tried sitting up. It was 3 am in the morning, and the greenette had woken up in pain. Katsuki and Eijiro slept on either side of them, both tired after a day of hero work. Izuku winced as the pain returned, this time hissing loudly, waking Eijiro up.
"Izuku?" Eijiro rubbed his eyes, "Are you okay?"
The three had married six months after the proposal. The entire wedding had been televised, the fact that the Numbers One, Two and Five heroes were getting married together, was a big deal. After a rather calming honeymoon, Izuku had woken up one morning vomiting their stomach out harshly. A trip to the doctors had confirmed that Izuku had been impregnated. For the next three months, Izuku stubbornly went on for hero work, before being forced on house rest. The most surprising moment for the three was when they learned they were having twins, fraternal twins, one boy, and one girl. According to Izuku's Ob-Gyn, both Katsuki and Eijiro had got one of each of themselves in, and the two had fainted at the news. The pregnancy was a rollercoaster, Izuku had multiple bouts of extreme sickness and pain, and by the end of month four of the pregnancy, either Katsuki or Eijiro had to be with them all the time, to make sure that they were taken care of.
The doctor's appointment two days ago at their thirty-six-week mark had given the soon-to-be parents a week's time to prepare for the birth, which they decided would be through a C-section. It seemed the babies were done with hanging around inside their mother, as with another large contraction, Izuku's first water burst open, Eijiro's eyes wide as he saw the mixture of the amniotic fluid and blood gush out of Izuku.
"Katsuki!" He woke up his husband, "Wake up! The babies are coming!"
Izuku groaned in pain as Katsuki came to and what Eijiro said registered.
"SHIT!" he yelled, scrambling out of the bed with Eijiro. They both ran around the new house they had moved in barely three months ago, grabbing this and that, Katsuki calling their parents and Kirishima helping Izuku change into other clothes; Izuku made their way downstairs to the new minivan that Katsuki had lovingly brought. As Katsuki finally grabbed the hospital bag that the always organized Izuku had prepared weeks before, the three set off to Musutafu General, where their Ob-Gyn waited for them.
Thankfully, they were in time for the doctors and nurses to prepare for the originally decided C-Section. Recovery Girl had also made it in time and the operation had gone well. The sounds of two crying babies filled the operating room, Izuku had finally passed out, falling into a deep sleep they had required for days, Recovery Girl healing the greenette's C-section cut.
When Izuku opened their eyes, they smiled, Katsuki and Eijiro both held a child each, their eyes trained on their children as they watched them sleep. Noticing Izuku was awake, both made their way towards their partner. Izuku shifted themselves so they were in position; Katsuki and Eijiro placed both the babies on their chest. The babies nestled into their mother's chest, sighing as if they knew they were in the right place. Katsuki and Eijiro smiled, tears in their eyes, as Izuku said.
"Hi there my angels, it's your Mama." They cooed to their babies.
"Beautiful." Said Katsuki, Eijiro nodding in agreement.
"How long was I out?" asked Izuku, their hands brushing over the luscious mops of hair that each child had. The boy had blonde hair with green streaks, while the girl had green hair with black streaks.
"About five or so hours." Eijiro replied, his own hand pushing a stray strand of hair Izuku had behind their ear.
Katsuki moved forwards and gave Izuku a kiss, followed by Eijiro. Once they were done, Katsuki asked, "So what are we gonna name the tykes? We were waiting for you to be up to decide."
Izuku looked lovingly at the babies who slept peacefully on their chest. The names had been so difficult to decide but as they saw their children in front of them, they knew the perfect names for them.
"Our baby boy," they said, "Will be Kazuko."
Katsuki and Eijiro's smiles widened.
"And our little lady here," they said, booping the said child's nose, who had woken up as if she knew she was being talked about, "Will be Hikari."
"Peace Child and Light." Said Katsuki and he and Eijiro climbed onto a side each of Izuku, wrapping their arms around them, each placing a loving kiss on Izuku's temples.
The happy family of five had some ups and downs for sure. There were days the children had created trouble for their parents, making them stay up nights but as they grew up, so did the family, as they got into the normal routine of life. Hisashi had this time approached his child, begging for forgiveness, after realizing the error of his ways. Inko and Mitsuki were fierce, protective grandmothers, so were Eijiro's mothers. Masaru had been stunned seeing his grandchildren and had burst into tears.
Izuku sat one day, surrounded by their family, children all grown up and heroes themselves. And all they could think was, all is well that ends well.
And they lived happily ever after.
