Whats Wrong? Scared?

(Hey just a something before the chapter; I got fear toxin really wrong in this and treated it more like one of mysterios illusions. So be warned)
I looked at the red armbands "Are these what I think they are?" I said to myself, putting them on. I pressed down on the button with my two middle fingers, the bands shot out a web like material. "I'm gonna have fun with this." I muttered. I ran out of the room and to the Batcave. I Jumped up and fired the webs at the roof "This is so cool!" I pulled myself up to the roof. I flipped back down to the floor. I shot another web to the roof and began to swing around "Oh my god!" I shouted, flipping back to the floor. I looked at my suit "Hell yeah."

Next thing I did was jump straight out the manor "Hello Gotham city!" I shouted, running up to a building and jumping, I ran up a building and jumped off of it "Look out crime!" I shouted shooting a web. This helped me get my mind off my Dad's death. I heard a alarm go off at a near by store. I zipped down to the building "Never fear your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man's here!" I ran through the door. Two men in clown masks had a cashier at gun point. Joker Gang. Before they could notice me I shot two webs at both of their guns "What the hell?" One of the crooks shouted. "Did you guys not hear me at the door?" I quipped, one of them ran at me "And why do you guys always wear the same mask?" I jumped over the guy, webbing him to the wall after. "Its always the white makeup face and green hair." I shot another web at the other guys face, he let go of the cashier. "Well it'll be gone in a second." I shot another web at him, pulling him towards me and punching him in the face.

When he hit the floor some of the GCPD arrived. "Bat- you aren't Batman." One of the officers said, as one of the other officers was picking up one of the gang members he said "He's the Spider-boy!" I pinched my forehead "Spider-Man." I answered, one of the gang members was put in the car. "Well I think I'll be on my way now." The cop shook my hand and I walked out the door. "Hey Spider-guy, one of the crooks had a note for Batman, can you check this out?" He handed me a note, it had a address and Joker card "Yeah I'll check it out. Also it's Spider-Man." I jumped up and shot a web onto a building beginning to swing throughout the busy city.

As I was going to the harbor I stopped at my house for one of the last times. "Hello? Mom?" I asked, wanting her to be here. "Are you here?" I shouted downstairs, no answer. I walked down the steps, still nothing. As I passed by the kitchen I saw a letter on the table, it was from my mom. 'Ben, I know we haven't been the best parents to Y/N and you know why of course, however I need you to tell him about the owls, there after me and since you're close to me you as well, they might go after Y/N as well.' I read the note two times over "The Owls?" I said to myself, I put the letter back down, I needed to get back to what I was doing.

I jumped back out a window and shot a web, it was getting more and more cloudy. As I got closer to the harbor I felt a raindrop hit my head. "Great." I muttered, the last thing I wanted was rain. I landed on the roof of the building that the address. I crawled down the wall to get to the window. I opened it slowly and jumped in. The room was dark and damp. A light shined on me "Hello Bat-" It was the Joker, shit. "This isn't Batman!" Joker shouted at one of his goons "This is the new guy!? I asked for Batman!" Joker shouted pulling out one of his gag guns. and shot the guy, guess it wasn't a gag gun. "Just release the gas Scarecrow!" I realized the plan as soon as he said Scarecrow. Gas started to spew from the walls. "Well Spider-Robin, it's time for another death in the family!" He said as a barrier formed around him. I held my breath as the room got darker yet again, I could hear metal go over the windows. I looked around the empty room, it was silent, aside from the fear toxin slipping into the room. I fired a web at the roof and pulled myself up. I really needed to breath, so I tried to think of ideas. Web cocoon? No, I would suffocate. Call for help? Most of the Batfamily would be caught up in something. Blind myself? Wait that could work, if I let my sense tell me whats fake, it'll tell me whats real! I webbed up the eyes to my mask and started breathing again. My head started to ring and gunshots could be heard, I jumped up and avoided each of the bullets "Just shoot the man!" I heard a voice say, I shot a web towards the voice. As I zipped towards the man a bullet hit me in what I hope it wasn't a vital organ.

My senses went off as I dodged a punch, I kicked the man in the face and then webbed up my wound. I felt a gas mask on the mans face, I grabbed it and put it on. "This is not sanitary at all." I quipped, I knew I had to not only wrap this up quick but also have to wait a bit for the gas to lose its effect so I can take off my blindfold. My sense went off again and I dodged yet another bullet. I shot a web at where I thought the gunshot came from, I disarmed the goon and punched him in the face.

That's when I sensed something else, a sickle and chains. "What do you fear Spider..." Scarecrow. I knew that this was bad, I should've just called for Cass or somebody else. I jumped over the weapon and webbed another goon to the wall. "Gotta admit, Spiders scare me a lot." I joked, but my sense started to scream at me, then an explosion went off, hitting me in the back "God damn it!" I screamed as smoke started to rise. "Sorry Scary! I was excepting a Bat!" The Joker tried to be funny. A moved some debris over, trying to save the goons. I took off the blindfold and gas mask since they were not needed outdoors.

I got a couple of incapacitated goons out of the debris. My senses went off again, however I was moving someone out of the the debris when they went off, I was hit in the leg and pulled towards Scarecrow "Come closer..." He grabbed a can of what I could tell is fear toxin, as he was about to spray it into my face I grabbed his mask and fear toxin, throwing both away. I grabbed the sickle that was stuck in my thigh, pulling it out. I webbed his feet to the ground, webbing up his hands next "You-" I webbed up his mouth before he could continue. "I would say something funny but I'm losing a lot of blood, see ya in Jail!" I said, jumping up to a building, climbing up slowly.

I was getting lightheaded. I needed to get to a safer location quick. In the meanwhile I called Tim, he picked up after about 10 seconds. "Tim I need help, I had a run in with the Joker and Scarecrow." I said. I saw the GCPD come and round up the Scarecrow. "I wish I could but I'm a bit caught up with Poison Ivy right now. I'll tell the others where you are, just stay where you are and somebody will be there soon." He hung up after saying that.

So I just stayed where I was, I was debating if I should just go out and look for whoever is coming to save me. "Y/N!" I heard a voice shout, it was Cass. "Are you-" she looked at my wounds, I was feeling sick, next thing I new I passed out.
