Rosemary let go of me. I wiped my eyes and put my helmet back on.
"Don't tell anyone what happened down here," I told her. She nodded and sat down with her legs crossed.
"If you need me, I'll be in the cockpit," I said, standing up and walking toward the ladder. She quickly jumped up and asked, "Can I go up there with you?" I hesitated. Her brown eyes sparkled; I sighed and gave in.
"Yes, but don't touch anything," I warned. I let her climb up the ladder first, and I followed. When we got to the top, Zors turned around.
"Um, what's she doing up here?" He asked, looking at Rosemary strangely.
"It's fine Zors; I said she could. Now go get some rest, you look miserable." He stood up from the pilot's seat and climbed down the ladder. I took his place and Rosemary sat in the seat beside me. She was staring at all the controls.
"What does that one do?" She asked, pointing to a beeping red button.
"That's the hyperdrive indicator."
"What about this one?" She asked again, motioning to a yellow button.
"That button is the emergency landing button." Rosemary looked at me confused.
"How does it work?"
"Well, let's say that the landing gears weren't working. If I pressed this button, it would deploy an emergency system, giving us a safe landing," I explained.
"Ah, that's cool. What about this one?" She inquired, pointing to an orange button near the emergency landing button.
"That one, um, well, I actually don't know," I said, laughing a little. Rosemary laughed too. She then remained strangely quiet for a while, examining all the other controls. A couple minutes later, Zors climbed back up the ladder.
"Hey, Jetta? I thought we owed the Hutts some money?"
"We do."
"Then why are we going to Coruscant?" He asked confused.
"That's where this Hutt is currently residing; I contacted him and told him we would be coming," I answered him. "We're nearly there."
"Alright then," Zors said as he went back down the ladder.
"Whoa!" Rosemary said as I pulled us out of hyperspace.
"What?" I asked her, looking at her awed expression.
"It's beautiful!" She exclaimed, staring at the planet of Coruscant. I laughed a little. She was such an interesting child.
"I've never thought of it as beautiful, but I guess is it," I said as we approached the planet's atmosphere. The planet was one big city; hundreds of lights greeted us as we entered the planet.
Once we landed and left the ship, Killon Hutt, a chubby slug looking creature, slimed over toward us. I hated this guy, but I owed him money for a few things in the past. I'd prefer not to discuss them with anybody.
"Ah, Jetta! If it isn't my favorite bounty hunter! And Zors, good to see you too!" He exclaimed, embracing me in a hug. He smelled like death; I pushed away.
"What are you doing here, darling?" He asked in a snake-like tone.
"I brought you your 60,000 credits. I already told you this," I said as Zors dragged the crate beside me. Killon's eyes widened and filled with greed. He grinned and rubbed his hands together. He quickly wormed over to the crate and stroked it.
"60,000 you say?" He asked, not taking his eyes off the crate.
"Yes, just like you asked."
"Ah, Jetta. You're just like your father. You even look a bit like him. Would you take your helmet off for me, sweetie?"
