"Hey, wake up. Wake up!" A sharp, voice said. I stirred slightly, but kept my eyes closed. I then felt a sharp jab in my side. I shot up immediately, ready to fight, but I was pushed back down. When I looked up, it was Vex.
"Hello, mando," she said, in a false sweet tone. "How are you?" I glared at her; and then I realized: my helmet was gone.
"What do you want?" I asked sleepily, trying to struggle against her.
"Oh, nothing. Nothing at all. I don't want you, if that's what you mean," she said with a scoff. "I want your daughter."
"No," I said, still trying to fight. A tall man in a dark gray suit hit my head with a staff, and I stopped struggling.
"What the heck!" I exclaimed, reaching for my head. That's when I noticed I was chained to the floor.
"Yah, Corellia will be your little home from now on, mando. So, hope you like your cell!" She cackled. "Oh, and there's someone you should see!" She called out in a language I didn't know, and in walked a man wearing all black. It was the one I saw yesterday, or whenever that was, that was standing over me. He was wearing a mask, just like last time.
I sat up enough just to see him remove it.
"Hello Jetta," he said.
"What? How do you know my name?" I said, still partly out of it. My head was swimming and I couldn't think properly.
"Oh, everyone on Corellia knows you, after you pulled that little stunt a few years back" he said walking over to me. I fell back down and looked at him, unsure of what to say. He looked at me with disgust.
"Vex, she's hardly awake! I told you to wait to call me until she was fully conscious!"
"I'm sorry, master," she said seductively, backing away.
"Idiots," he hissed. He knelt beside me and rubbed my face.
"I'll see you in a little bit, Jetta," he said with a smile. They all left the cell and locked me in. After a few moments passed, I began to regain full conscientious. I sat up and looked around. The cell was dark, musty, and reeked of death. I tried to stand, but couldn't; I felt too weak. After more attempts, I finally managed to stand up, only to fall back down. I sighed.
"You'll never leave this place now," said a voice from the shadows.
"What?" I said, looking over at the direction of the voice. An old lady crawled out into the light; her skin was wrinkled and her hair was white with little streaks of red. She looked miserable.
"You'll never leave Corellia. That was Barrik Lowell. He's the crime lord of the streets of Corellia," she said with a trembling voice. I nodded. The name sounded familiar but I couldn't pin point it.
"Where is Rosemary?" I asked, suddenly remembering my adopted child.
"In the pit," she said, shakily.
"The pit?" I asked; that didn't sound good.
"It's a place where all kidnapped children go; there, they are sold as slaves," she said in a melancholy voice.
"How long have I been in here?" I asked, finally getting my strength back. I stood up and looked at the chains on my wrists. I could get these ofge easily.
"About five days," she said.
"Are you serious?" I asked her in shock. "I've got to get out of here."
"You cannot do that. It is impo-" but as she said that, I was able to rip the chains off my hands.
"How did you-"
