When we arrived on the moon of Bef Kir, I scanned for any signs of life. There was a small civilization not far from where we landed. I grabbed a few packs and a blaster when I climbed down the ladder into the cargo hold. Rosemary ran up to me and said, "Jetta, I'm hungry."

I about freaked out because I realized that ever since I found her, I hadn't fed her.

"Dank farrik, I'm sorry," I said, throwing everything on the floor and scavenging through some of the cold storage crates, looking for food.

"Do you guys not eat?" She asked.

"I grew up with hardly any food," I said, my head in a box. "I was lucky if I was able to get one meal a day. I don't eat all that often anyway. But you need food, so I'll find some."

"You don't look like you've been starved," she said.

"You should have seen me 20 years ago. It's a wonder I even survived."

"Yah, we we're always fed. Sometimes 3 or 4 times a day. The First Order wanted us healthy and ready for action."

"I don't doubt that," I said, finally fishing out some cold meiloorun fruit, and handing it to her. She took ine bite it the fleshy fruit and her eyes widened.

"Oh my, this is the best thing I've ever tasted."

"Yah, Zors really likes the fruit too. It's on pretty much every planet we visit, so we stock up on it."

"What about meiloorun fruit?" Zors asked, clinging down the ladder.

"We forgot to feed her, so im giving her some," I told him, picking my stuff back up.

"Oooh, that's the good stuff," he said, grabbing a fruit for himself. "You want some Jetta?"

"I'll pass right now," I said.

"Jetta, you need to eat. It's been a while."

"I will later, Zors. Right now, let's go look for this guy."

We all left the ship and began to trek across some of the grassy plain of the moon. It was beautiful, but, just like all the other planets I've been to, I didn't want to live here.

"Jetta! Race me to the end of the field!" Rosemary squealed, running away.

"You're going to lose!" I said, chasing after her. I smiled under my helmet. I love this kid.

I decided to increase my chance of winning by a lot. I prepped my jetpack and flew right past her, landing on a large rock at the edge of the field. When she caught up to me, she put her hands on her hips and said, "Cheater!" She giggled, but tried to retain a serious composure. I jumped off the rock and looked at her.

"I didn't cheat; I improvised," I said, shaking my head. "Plus, you never clarified that I couldn't use my jetpack."

"Yah, I guess so," she said, losing the serious face and breaking into laughter.

"Let's wait for Zors," I said. He started to run when he saw us staring there, waiting for him.

"Phew, what made you leave me behind?" He asked, breathlessly, bending over.

"It was Rosemary's idea," I said, pointing at her.

"Hey!" She said, laughing.

"It was!" I argued, grabbing her and tickling her sides. She struggled against me, laughing as she did so. Zors sat down and looked at us, shaking his head.

"Guys, we had better keep searching. Who knows what will happen if we don't get this guy to the First Order in time."

"Yah, you're right Zors," I said, releasing my grip on her. I stood up and then nearly collapsed.
