"Kylo," I said stiffly. I noticed he had put his mask back on. It looked a little different, and I didn't like it all that much, but I kept quiet about it.

"Any luck finding your ship?" He asked. His mask made his voice way deeper, and it kinda creeped me out.

"Fortunately, yes."

"Where was it?"

"An abandoned First Order base," I answered, trying to avoid looking at that wrecked ship on his face. It was rather hard, considering I like making eye contact with people.

"Oh. And the ones who stole it?" He inquired further. He seemed suspicious, but I continued to answer him.

"They seemed to have disappeared. I searched the area for them but couldn't locate them," I lied. I think that did it.

"I see," he said, looking out the bridge window. Even he didn't believe me. "Jetta, you do know it is considered treason when you lie to your superiors, don't you?

Well, I'm screwed.

"I am aware of that, Sir, " I answered as calmly as possible, acting as if I didn't know what he was talking about. He sighed

"Then tell me. Where did you find the Revenant?"

"I told you, sir, on an old First Order base," I repeated, more forcibly this time.

"And how can I trust you?"

"Kylo, have I ever lied to you before?"

He hesitated. The truth was no, I hadn't. I just hoped he believed me this time. I couldn't afford to lose his alliance, not just yet. Not until Armitage took over.

"You have a point, Jetta. No, you haven't. You're the only bounty Hunter I trust," He responded. "Has Hux told you the news?"

"That you and Rey are engaged?"

"No, I- why would you even say that?" He asked with a sigh.

"Oh, come on, Ren. Even a womp rat could tell that you're obsessed with her," I said, grinning under my helmet. I heard Hux snicker, but he quickly regained his composure as General Pryde walked in.

"You believe her, Kylo?" He asked with a scoff.

"You don't?"

Pryde ignored his comment and walked away from the three of us. Kylo faced me and said, "I found the Emperor."

"Good for you," I responded.

"I was told you met him?"

"Once."

"What was he like?"

"I don't remember much about him, I only recall his voice," I told Kylo.

Mother had brought me aboard the Imperial Star Destroyer because she wanted to see Father. She didn't let me see him though, and when I asked why, she told me be quiet. I was left in the bridge of the ship, where all the Imperial leaders could keep an eye on me. None of them seemed to have any desire to talk to me, so I quietly stared out the window at the half-built death star.

"Admiring it?" A deep voice from beside me came. Startled, I jumped and looked up at the tall dark figure standing next to me. I gazed at him in terror. Mother had told me if I went against the Empire, this man--Darth Vader--would look for me. He knelt down beside me and I stared, wide-eyed, into his helmet. His breathing frightened me, and his stiff movements made me uncomfortable. He seemed to be more robotic than actual human.

"What is your name?" He asked, his dark voice making my eyes wider than ever.

"Je-Jetta, " I stuttered, afraid of what this feared man might do to me.

"She is the child of the bounty hunter you hired to find Solo. Boba Fett, I believe," an officer said. Vader stood back up and looked out the window with me.

"Maybe one day, you could join the Empire," he said. Five year old me beamed and proudly said, "I want to. I want to rid the galaxy of the Rebels!"

"Hopefully, many of them will have been destroyed by the time you are old enough to join," he said.

"She will do great things," another terrifying voice said. This time, it was over by the lift doors. Everyone, including Vader, kneeled at the old man's presence, so I did the same. He walked over to me and looked down. I glanced at his face, which scared me even more than Vader's helmet did.

"Emperor Palpatine?" I stammered fearfully.

"Yes, child. I have come to meet you," he said. His eyes seemed to glow under his hood, giving him the appearance of a tall Jawa. At least, that's what five year old me thought.

"Master, do you sense something in her?" Vader asked Palpatine.

"Yes, yes. She has a strange-" but he was interrupted by my mother, who rushed over to me when she saw who was speaking to me. Picking me up, she glared at the Emperor and at Vader.

"Do not try to force your strange wizard beliefs on my child," she warned. Palpatine looked at Vader and then back at my mother.

"She possesses something I can bring out in her," Palpatine said. My mother raised an eyebrow.

"No, never. We're leaving."

*Three days later*

"Why are we at Kijimi again?" I asked Kylo. He ignored me, continuing to "pray" to his Darth Vader helmet.

"Oh, for the love of God, Kylo," I said, annoyed. "He can't hear you. He's dead."

"Leave."

"Fine," I said, doing as he wished. Every since we captured the wookie and the Falcon, he bad been "praying" to that helmet more often. It was rather concerning. I decided not to bring it up to him, mostly because every time I mentioned something, he would lash out at me.

On the way to my makeshift quarters, I ran into Armitage in the corridor. He seemed unusually happy.

"What?" I asked as I approached.

"They've discovered Rey and her rebel friends on the planet," he said.

"And?"

"Kylo will most likely go down there to search for her. While he's down there, we can discuss some things."

"Like?"

"Too risky to say here. Come with me to my quarters." I nodded and followed my husband into a lift further down the corridor.

"Did you know Pryde when you were younger?" He asked as the lift doors closed.

"No; if I had, I would have killed him then," I stated bitterly. "He hates you."

"He suspects me. He somehow figured out we were married; that means he could most likely find out about my being the spy."

"Shh, Armitage" I warned. "He certainly will find out if you don't shut up."

The lift doors opened and we walked into the corridor. Two TIE fighter pilots rushed beside us, followed by several stormtroopers. Armitage stopped one of them.

"What is going on?"

"The Supreme Leader ordered that we report to the hangar. He's preparing to leave for the planet's surface," the trooper answered, running to catch up with the others. Armitage and I glanced at each other but said nothing. I followed him into his quarters when General Pryde stopped us at the door.

"Jetta," he said slyly.

"General Pryde," I responded stiffly.

"I do hope I wasn't interrupting anything important," he said.

"Well, now that you mention it, yes, you were kind of interrupting something," I retorted. Armitage elbowed me in the side.

"You should learn to respect your authority," he said bitterly. "For the sake of you and Hux here." He stormed off, muttering something under his breath.

"How does Kylo put up with him?" I asked.

"Another mystery of Ben Solo that is yet to be solved," Armitage said, closing the doors to his quarters. "Sit down. We gave much to talk about."
