Orchid's POV:

"Judy, may I please use your phone..."

I asked worriedly as I lay uncomfortably in the bathtub, blood still pouring out of me. Even though I didn't feel any pain, it was still a scary sight to see.

"Sure, but I don't think Grayson has his phone with him right now-"

"It's not Grayson who I'm calling..."

I replied in a troubled tone as Judy handed me her phone. She looked confused by my actions, I'm sure she thinks I should be contacting the father of my child. But knowing how Grayson is, he will only make me more stressed about the situation. And right now, he's already overwhelmed with alot of things-

"Hello?"

After dialing his phone number, he answered shortly after. He sounded skeptical since it was an unknown number calling him...

"Damien, I need your help."

I was very vague about what was going on, and even though I could hear it in his voice, he slightly panicked. I tried to get him to calm down but he was already in a rush to come over to the house. After getting off the phone, I tried to stand back up on my own-

"Orchid! Wait, you can't move so quickly...here, let me help you change."

Judy offered as she helped dry me off, I'm very grateful for having her by my side. I don't think I'll be able to do this all on my own. I should be able to trust her...

"The person you called, who were they? You seemed to be very close to them..."

She questioned as she helped me put a dress on. It was alot easier to wear since it exposed my back which will make things less complicated for when Erica needs to clean my stitches. However, my body remains cold, so the very second I came back to the bedroom, I wrapped myself in a blanket.

"Yeah, he's the only one who I can trust outside of the pack. Judy, I need you to do me a favor. No matter what happens, please... don't let Grayson find out where I'm going-"

"What are you talking about?! You can't go anywhere in this condition, you have to stay bedridden. Especially now since you're with child-"

"I can't give birth to this baby! I don't even want to believe I'm pregnant...I know nothing about a hybrid giving birth successfully, do you?! All I've heard was that giving birth...will only cause catastrophe. That my child will be a monster, a curse...is that what I want? Do I take the chance in being selfish, and bring my baby into this world who will probably not be loved by anyone-"

"You can't think that way, a child is a blessing-"

"Expect mine. The head alpha even warned me...and Grayson, he doesn't want children. And now that I think of it, I don't think Damien has ever discussed wanting to have kids with me in the past..."

"This Damien, was he a human?" She questioned me...

"There's a lot of things that were left out when we told you about my past, for my family well well-being, I didn't want to get them involved. But I'm trusting you, Judy, I have nothing left...my choices that I've picked thus far, have been painful for me. But nothing hurts more... than what lies in my belly. I don't know what to do...and I need your help."

As I pleaded, I began to explain my relationship with Damien and about my father who I haven't spoken to in months. I honestly wish I could hug him right now, it seems that I'm still nothing but a child who needs their parent's embrace. I just want someone to tell me, that things will get better...

"Oh my god...I had no idea. All I was told was about your mom being a wolf and your father being human. Never would I have thought you were with another alpha before coming here, it must've been difficult for him. But...why did you ask Damien to come here?" She suddenly asked while comforting me.
