Nini and Kourtney were talking at Salt Lake, Kourtney just got off her shift and they were waiting for 2 boys.
"So...anything new about the new songwriting?" Kourtney asks, waiting for Nini to spill the tea.
Nini just sighs and shakes her head. "Not really, I've been having this writer's block for a while and I can't really make any songs" she sighs, slumping into her seat. She's been having trouble writing songs after she wrote the Rose Song, she couldn't create a whole song.
"Well, maybe you should show him a sing you've already written" Kourtney suggests. Nini was kinda confused, she didn't think any of her songs were really good. "I think you should show Jamie the Rose Sing."
Nini quickly shakes her head chucking. "No uh, that song...it put me through way too much trouble, and think of what more trouble that could put me into."
"Like what?"
"Well, who knows, when it comes to songs about someone, people will start to wonder who it's about and start to make up stupid and ridiculous theories and someone will think it's about the first guy they see me with then if I don't respond, it will lead to too much drama I don't wanna deal with-"
"But isn't it about Ricky, isn't it?" Kourtney asks confused.
"See, there you go!" Nini exclaims. The song wasn't completely directed to Ricky, she just felt like she was trapped, that doesn't mean it was Ricky's fault, right?
"Neens, I don't think all would happen just cause you to let out one song" Kourtney scoffs.
"Even if, I don't think I should, maybe I should show him some other songs, like All I Want or I Think, I Kinda, Ya Know-"
"Now that song caused some trouble" Kourtney and Nini chuckle. "But seriously, that song was the bomb, I do seriously think that you should show him," Kourtney says, but Nini still shakes her head, she doesn't want any more bad drama between her and Ricky.
"No, no, the last thing I need is people creating too many stupid theories and somehow finding out about Ricky" she scoffs, taking a sip of her drink. "Girl, you think way too much" Kourtney laughs.
"Hey, why'd you get 3 permission slips?" Nini asks. "One for me, one for Howie, and the other for-" Kourtney was suddenly cut of by 2 boys walking in laughing and talking.
"Hey, boss!" Howie smiles as he walks in with Kourtney's younger brother, Bryan Greene. "Got your text, what's up?" Bryan asks as he takes a seat and tp Nini so Howie can sit with Kourtney.
Kourtney, with a grin, hands the 2 permission slips to the 2 boys. They both take it and scan through it.
"A summer camp, I'm sure whoever you meant to give this to will love it" Bryan smiles handing it back to Kourtney but she doesn't take it. "You're coming, Br."
"Seriously?" Bryan asks. He's never gone to a camp before. Besides, he never meant any of Kourtney's friends other than Nini and Howie, and no doubt they're all going too.
"Come on Bryan, you make your own raps, and they're the greatest I've heard" Nini looks at him. Bryan looks and sees that all three want him to go. He did have a bit of a hobby of writing his own raps, but other than his parents, the only people who have ever heard are at this table. "Well, if my sis wants me to, I will" saying that he earns himself a squeal from Nini and Kourtney.
"What about you, Howard?" Kourtney ask Howie, who was staying quiet, thinking. "Um, yeah, sounds like fun, not as fun as forbidden romance, but..." Howie chuckles, making a smiling Kourtney nudge him.
"At your own time, please" Bryan flashes a smug smile, but Nini nudges him with a stare that says "leave 'em alone."
