Camp Shallow Lake's Mess Hall was filled with Lunch Table and a few 8-Game tables (I'm not sure what it's called). The others minus EJ were sitting at the table eating breakfast. Sense EJ, the newest Camp Counselor was the only morning person among the Wildcats, other than Gina, he volunteered to cook and still have time to eat with his friends, thank goodness he was a great cook.
The Wildcats, plus their new friends, Jack, Jessie, and Harper were discussing the new play. "Okay, I don't care what happens, you and I are definitely on these costumes," Kourtney tells Harper.
"Okay girl" Harper laughs, hive-fiving her new friend who shares her love of fashion.
While everyone was talking, Gina noticed Nini was talking at all, or eating, she had a pencil and held it to her journal, but she never wrote anything. "Hey, you okay?" Gina asks her, grabbing her shoulder. Nini looks up at her and gives her a smile.

Nini
I've always dreamed of becoming a singer since I was a child. I used to always just sing, I never even knew what I was singing, I just sang. The first song when I actually took time to make the lyrics was that one time about clouds. Now Gina really went out of her way to do this for me and I really appreciate it. But since Spring Break, I've never been able to write my own solo songs, but I don't want to let them down. I can't get that moment outta my head.

(This scene picks up during Second Chances right we seen Nini on the phone, I'll be doing this a few times throughout the story)
"My brother's expecting your call... tonight," Gina tells Nini. Back at East High, an idea came to Gina about connecting Nini and her brother, Jamie to help in the rise of her career. To her, Nini was truly an incredible songwriter and she deserves to be heard. Jamie is a huge music producer guy in LA and he's always looking for fresh and young talent. Nini is both of those things and so much more.
Nini sighs, "Oh... Why am I nervous?" She lets out a small breath, I give her the slightest chuckle. "Because it might change your life."
"Oh great," Nini smiles as she heads out into another room.
As Nini sits down to call Jamie I notice an odd sense of calm that falls over her. she sits down on one of the benches attached to the tables and dials Jamies number into my phone. After about 2 or 3, he answers. "Hello, this is Jamie Porter."
"Hey, Jamie... it's uh, it's Nini...or maybe Nina" the young girl introduces myself, her nerves slowly rising again as she nervously twirls her hair. "Oh, yes. Hi. I was just watching the Rose Song. You are an incredibly talented singer. Gina told me you write all your own music?"
Nini exhales a bit preparing herself to speak again. "I do, yeah" she starts. "Writing songs is my favorite thing to do in the world. I've been doing it for as long as I can remember and I fall more in love with it every day.
"Seems I've got a young Taylor Swift on the line," Jamie chuckles.
"That is the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me, thank you," she pauses for a moment, "But I promise I'm my own person."
"I don't doubt that at all," he chuckles again before getting serious. "I would love to meet with you sometime. Would you possibly be able to fly down to LA sometime?"
"I would have to ask my parents too, but I'd love to, I can come back to you on a date, is that okay?"
"Great. I will email you the details. And don't worry about paying for a flight. I've got you covered since you seem to be such good friends with my little sister. She deserves good friends."
