It was Opening Night for Camp Shallow Lake. Curtains should be opening in about 1 hour. The set people were setting the stage, Mr. Mazzara was preparing the microphone for Mal's introduction, and everyone was in costume. Even after Camp North's performance yesterday, their confidence was high...mostly.
The female lead was fast-walking across the stage in her purple wig and her leather leggings, wedge high-tops sneakers with her cast under, and fit-ted tailcoat, sculptured leather dragon wings caging her signature 2 wings on the back of her coat.
Nini had cards for the whole crew and she was giving them around. "Hey, happy opening night. Good luck, see ya!"

Nini's Talking Head
Don't worry, I'm fine, just a sprain leg, it's not completely healed but it should do some good tonight. I can still do the dances, so I'll be okay. I just have to be careful. Besides, I don't have an understudy so I kinda have to cause...what's Descendants without Mal?

Meanwhile, backstage, the Shallow Lakers were preparing for their production.
Kourtney and Bryan were talking. Kourtney was in her long blue wig, blue suede boots, short blue leather skirt, and matching jacket with her heart-and-crown emblem painted on the back. Meanwhile, Bryan was rocking a gray chiton, gray t-shirt, and studded leather coat etched with blue flames. Not to mention his spiked blue wig.
"So, when's the big night? I need the details!" Kourtney urges for her little brother. He turns to Jessie, with her brown hair tied in two messy buns, wearing purple cat-eye glasses, a black paint-splattered medium sleeve dress with ruffles around her collar and the end of her sleeves, and a paint-splattered deep-blue frock with puffy shoulder pads.
"We're making plans for...a date next week" Bryan mumbles, but his sister's squeal was LOUD! "EEEEH! My little brother has a date!"
"Shut up, Kourt."
"So I bet you're pretty glad I dragged you to camp, huh?"
"Well, the fact that I didn't have my phone for months didn't exactly help. How'd you cope without Sasha?"
"It has been rough months" Kourtney starts fanning herself at the thought of her cell phone. "Well, that hurts" Howie approaches his girlfriend, in his full Auradon band uniform. "Oh, be quiet."
"Okay, okay, I was wondering if we could talk after the show, I need to tell you something important."
"Kourt!" Nini calls out.
"Sure, we can talk" Kourtney kisses his cheek before walking away. "You finally gonna tell her?" Bryan asks.
"I've been keeping this from her for a while. I have to tell her before school starts up."
"Well, I got you, I'll be by your side" Bryan pats his future brother-in-law's shoulder and he grins. It was time to tell Kourtney, he had to, no matter what the result was.
Jack was watching Harper from afar. Jack was in his white tank-top black sleeveless jacket with a red interior, black torn jeans with red, green, and white plaid on the inside, and black fingerless gloves with red accents, but still wears his dark brown boots.
Harper catches Jack staring at her and walks over. "If you wanted to talk, just tell me."
"Okay, you look more than cute this time. You look...beyond beautiful."
Harper had long dark and blue curly hair. She was wearing black-and-blush fitted leather pants and a tea-length duster with alarming black feather accents, a necklace with 2 charms, a bright bluebird, and a dark black raven, and her Queen's Crown. "I had hoped so, this took me hours to make."
