The group was walking out of the Practice Room and Gina was quick to catch up with EJ. "Hey! I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hang out, I hear there's this pool up the hill."
"We could've, but Val is gonna show me around the camp" EJ explains. Gina was surprised, but she tries not to let it get to her. She tries her best to let it out positively, but it just comes out as "Oh."
But EJ being the oblivious boyfriend, didn't notice anything and just explained further. "Yeah, I mean, I'm a Camp Counselor now, so maybe I should get to know more about Shallow Lake, ya know?"
"Oh, yeah, yeah, that's perfect" Gina shrugs it off, playing with her long dark brown hair with gold highlights put into braided dreadlocks. "You sure? You're not upset?" EJ asks. The last time Gina said things were perfect was when he canceled their date.
"Yeah, no, no, it's okay, really, have fun" Gina shrugs. EJ starts to grin, knowing that his girlfriend was the coolest. "Have I ever told you how cool you are? And beautiful, brave, you're 100% real and so many others. I can't believe someone so amazing is settling for with me," Gina's smile fades a bit near the end of my compliment, realizing what he had just said.
"First of all, thank you and you say that every day" Gina smiles, tossing her braids around. "Second of all, settling! With you! Have you looked into a mirror lately? You are both the most handsome guy I've ever met and the sweetest guy I've ever met. Don't act like I'm out of your league Eej," she corrects.
Instead of responding, EJ just kisses her.

EJ turns to the side and sees Val waiting patiently for him. "I'll tell you what, we'll schedule a special date later, okay?"
"If you say so" Gina smiles, pushing herself upward and giving EJ a quick peck on his lips, running her hand through his long hair. EJ walks off and approaches Val. "You ready?" Val asks with a grin. "Let's do this" EJ smiles and they both walk away.
As Gina watches them, she decides to go off and find Ashlyn. As she walks off, Gina takes one final look back at her boyfriend walking away with a blonde girl. Val was friendly, but the last time she met a blonde girl was Lily, and we all know how that turned out.

Carlos, Kaden, and Seb (Kaden will be a regular in this story) were hiking down a trail. It was supposed to be a date for Carlos and Seb, but Seb wanted to bring Kaden along. "I can't believe Zack invited us" Carlos scoffs. "Probably just to rub it in our faces."
"Hey, don't think bad" Seb rubs his shoulder. "Maybe they're trying to make amends."
"Yeah, you never know" Kaden shrugs. He was pretty glad he was welcomed into their special group, before this, he was just a dancer they would barely talk to. "Oh please, I bet they even entered the Theater Competition just to rub it in our faces" Carlos rolls his eyes.
"Ya know, it wouldn't hurt to see the good side of people," Seb says. That was really the couple's dynamic, Seb was the angel, always seeing the world as a bright sunny place, but Carlos was the devil, knowing when someone's bad.
