Spider-Man interrupts him and stands still in silence, the eyes on his mask squint, almost like something is scratching his head. Suddenly his eyes widen and with realization he turns around towards the tower and a hot mushroom of red orange and yellow bursts through the overcast sky. Large chunks of debris fall through the air and are going to smash through the concrete. Spider-Man notices that the debris is going to land on ambulances and paramedics. Victims.
"NO!" Peter yells as he runs away from the officer and jumps to the largest piece of debris falling. He crawls around to the part facing up and webs it to the side of the building. The piece bounces and follows the webline towards the building SMASHING right through the glass. Spider-Man does the same thing with two smaller pieces of debris and spots one more about to smash into a paramedic tending to an injured civilian. He swoops down and webs the debris right before it gets the chance to hurt anyone.
Woo, he thinks to himself, nice job Pete, time for the real fun to begin. He crawls up to where the large debris smashed through the building and runs through. "Hello?" Spider-Man calls out through every room he runs through, "anyone need help in here?!" Suddenly he hears guns cock behind him.
"Yea," a voice says, "you." Spider-Man turns around and is greeted with 10 Fisk guards pointing guns at him. "No way you just said that," Spider-Man says, so obviously condescending, "and with a straight face too?" He webs the one of the guns out of one of their hands and snaps it in two over his knee. They begin to shoot and he immediately jumps for the ceiling. The guards run into the room Peter was just in and aim at the ceiling. They're greeted with him swinging in from behind and kicking them into the wall. Most get knocked out, but one stands up with a knife in his hand and charges for Peter.
He tries to swing and slash at Peter, but he keeps dodging. "Can't believe you get paid to do this," Spider-Man says while he kicks the knife out of the guard's hand and throws him back, "while I'm out here freelancing to kick your butts!" Peter turns his back to the guard to look out the window, but as he does so he feels the itching sensation again, the loud warning that clouds every other thought.
BEHIND YOU.
Peter instinctively turns around and sees the guard rushing at him with another knife, he grabs him and throws him right through the window, all in a span of a couple seconds. Spider-Man quickly climbs outside and webs the guard while he falls through the air, being very careful on where he decides to land the webline on the guard's body. He pulls him up and throws him back inside. He crawls back in and sees the guard attempting to get up once more. Peter walks up to him and knocks his lights out, and without another word he walks into the connecting room between the previous room and Fisk's office.
He walks up to one of the large windows in the room. Well, he thinks, safe to say there's no one in Fisk's office. Guess the only way to the roof is... He backs up several steps, takes a deep breath, and lunges at the window, smashing through it with his shoulder. He web swings up the building some more, climbing up his lines in an attempt to reach the roof. He finally makes it to the top and lands hard. He looks around and through the brutal and hard snowstorm sees the figure of a man twice his size.
"All these years..." the man says, his deep, damaged voice breaking through the loud snowstorm. A voice that can send chills down anyone's spine, "all leading to this moment. It would be wise to give up Spider-Man. There is nothing one could do to stop me from leaving this tower." Spider-Man, despite everything, stands his ground, clenching his fists.
"I'd like to try, Fisk." Peter responds.
"Very well."
