The Courage

The mother was standing right infront of grace, grace's body stiffens in caution

"Where are you heading to grace?" The mother asks while smikin' at her as she goes closer to grace

"Oh uh I'm going downstairs to see the others" grace replies with nervousness clearly showing in her face 'shit why should encounter her at this moment, the worst moment'

Grace thinks as she panickes mentally about what to say next

The mother was coming closer and closer in every step she takes towards grace
"oh ok then..and by the way grace did you see where william is? I couldn't find him the whole day" mother asks as she pretends to be concerned but grace can see clearly how good she is in pretending

'she should get a Oscar for her acting, how much is she gonna bother william? Is abusing not enough for this witch' grace thinks in disgust

"No I didn't see him the whole day too..so if you excuse me miss I'll leave" she turns around but suddenly gets stopped by the mother's words

"I know what you both brats are doing..grace dear" the mother says still with that mischievous smile on, grace widens her eyes, suprised by the words, she turns back around to face the mother

'ha wow great.....just like william told...' grace smirks this time

Flashback..

"Mother knows what we are doing" william says, grace notices the seriousness in his voice
"W-what!" William nods "how did she know tho?" Grace asks "I'm pretty sure she evadropped" william replies back

"but don't panick when mother confesses that directly to you"

"Huh Why would she say, she knows what we are doing?" Grace asks in confusion all over her face

"To scare you, to make you go crazy and to make you give up on what you are doing cause she knows we are weaker than her and she knows we are also aware of that, she will do whatever to kill us and make us give up on our escape cause that's exactly what she wants..so that's why don't panick when she confesses" william says confidentially, grace knows he is telling the truth even if she can't see his eyes

"I hate to say this but you are pretty intelligent and after I say this don't comment on my brain" "I didn't even say anything" "still I know you are gonna say that" william scoffs

"You too, you are pretty useful than I expected, I thought you were completely useless to our escape plan" william states sarcastically, grace suddenly pushes him

"ow!" He acts as if he got hurt "omg I'm sorry I forgot you were healing"
 
"Ok then I'll let you rest peacefully and don't even try to escape the room I'll take care of the others downstairs cause I'm pretty sure they are worried sick about where we are again" grace says her goodbye and william nods.

End of Flashback..

"I know you both are making a massive escape plan, you and...william" the mother folds her hands together and raises her eyebrow

"Oh did you know, wow that's great to hear miss" grace says dramatically while acting shocked, the mother frowns her eyebrows

'huh why is this bitch acting like that' the mother thinks, but she smirks again

"so you aren't scared huh...that's interesting" mother bends down to grace a little, she backs away her head from her

But grace comes even closer to the mother gathering up her courage "yes, william is also not scared of you he is just pretending to be scared of you, we both will protect the other kids no matter what, sit and watch miss" grace gives last glare to the mother and leaves to downstairs
