- Adam's POV -

"Mate before you scream at me, I think you should know I've decided to keep your secret"

It was Sam.

"Scream at you for what? And don't you think you should just say my name, instead of playing the terrorist card? My girlfriend is missing you know!" I shouted at him to take my anger away, and threw his hands of me.

I felt a little guilty when Sam turned around to walk away.
"The kiss" he muttered under his breath, he was loud enough for me to have heard him. "Sorry, I didn't know I wasn't aloud to kiss Skye" I said, laughing.
He looked pissed.
"Mate look I didn't mean to snap at you, okay? I'm just starting to worry about Skye a lot. I thought everything was okay and that we were both finally starting to settle in, but now I don't know where the hell she is. It can't be good, I mean her house is a fucking state and she won't return anyone's phone calls. I just, i don't know what to do"

"Listen to me" Sam began. I kept my head down. He waited till I looked at him which took me ages, I was scared to ask him to help me.

"We ARE going to find her" he said.
"We'll look all day and all night if we have to, I'm not giving up on you Adam, it's obvious you have something for her" he gave me a reassuring smile, and for once I felt something positive run through me.
I'm determined to find her.

- Skye's POV -

I moved my neck around, it was stiff as hell. I'd been staring at nothing but a broken cabinet for what felt like hours. My hands were tied with rope that made my wrists feel rough, and my legs were tangled together but they didn't hurt as much.

I felt depressed. The only thoughts going through my head were stuff like, 'why are they doing this to me?' Or 'what have I done wrong?' I know they've always hated me, but this was too far.

I just don't understand.

I heard a beep. Then i realised my phone was In my ugg boot, but the beep meant it was almost out of battery.

Okay, all I need to do is find a way to get access to my phone. Since I have no idea where I am, ill call Adam. He'll come get me, I know he will.
I tried moving my hands but they hurt so much with even the slightest movement. Then i tried fiercely kicking my legs, the pain started to rise. The smell In here was awful. I looked around and recognised some of the stuff that had fallen out of boxes or been dumped in corners. There was a long rectangular mirror with a gold rim only a few feet away from me, it was slightly cracked and really dusty. It was reflecting ancient dolls and cobwebs, I was sure I'd seen one of the dolls before. I tried to set my mind on it, but the more i thought I about it, the more it slipped away. I looked the other way and seen loads of textbooks and old school jotters falling out of boxes, there was a few clothes hangers and a kids motorbike toy.
Where the hell am I.

- Abbie's POV -

It's been an hour since I've heard from anyone. I've been calling Skye non stop but her phone was either on silent or switched off. I flicked on the tv and stretched myself out on my bed. I was so tired. Just as i was dozing off my phone began to ring, I had a bit of hope thinking it could be Skye.

It was Adam.

"What?" I shouted angrily.
"Don't think your the only one annoyed here Roberts, she's my best friend!" I said, my eyes filled with tears.

"Listen, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you either. I just want to find her, so bad" he said.

I could hear the hurt in his voice, how we was falling apart.
"Adam, I think we-" I began, before I was cut off.
"Abbie just come over to Skye's, now!"

I got up from my bed and ran over to my closet, I didn't want to keep him waiting. I threw on my hollister t-shirt and black denim jeans with my uggs. I grabbed my phone and an apple on the way out and made my away around the block. I finished my apple and threw it into the yellow grit box, before turning the corner into Skye's street. It was so empty and there was no cars at all, except from the few parked on the pavement.

I knocked on Skye's door and waited a while. Wait, Adam's in there, why am I knocking? I opened the door and went through to the living room.

He looked exactly how he sounded on the phone, broken.

His hair was flat down instead of the normal quiff, and he was wearing grey joggies and a black t-shirt. He had circles round his eyes and tear stains on his face. His hands were leaning on his cheeks and he was cuddling a pillow. I don't think he noticed I came in.

"Adam, a-are you ok-kay? I asked him, petrified.
He looked so different, it scared me.

"He's fine, we just need to start looking for Skye as soon as we can" I heard a voice, it was coming from the kitchen.

NO.
Did he not bother to tell me Sam was here?! I looked back at him and his face was in his hands, I then realised how selfish I was being. My best friend is missing, what's wrong with me!

Sam came through and gave me a weak smile, he looked affected too.

"Guys.." They both looked up at me.

"I think I should tell you something.." I wished I hadn't said anything now, they were both staring at me with death threatening eyes. "Keep going.." Sam said, motioning with his hands. I wanted to laugh at how funny he was, but then I kept remembering the situation I was in.

It's best to tell them.

"I know I should have told you this earlier, but I think I know where Skye is.."
