I walk up to my room, presents in hand, and stuff them in my closet. My father, part Sheikah, and the Hero of Time. My mother, the niece of Ganondorf, the king of demons. How much do Goro and Ruto know? Why did they hide this from me? I sit down on my bed, and hug my knees to my chest. We're all in danger? What can I do? I sit there for what feels like forever. "Kokiri?" asks a voice. "Hey dad" I say, shaking my head back and forth, clearing my head. He leans against my door frame. "You've been sitting up here all day. What's on your mind kid?" What's on my mind? That idiot! He knew! And he never told me! Instead of yelling, I force a smile. "Just thinking, sorry. I'll do extra farm work later" I sit criss cross on my bed as he raises an eyebrow. "I know that face. What's wrong?" I shrug. "Hey dad.... for my 14th birthday.... I want you to take me to Gerudo Town...." he seems to process this for a second, and then laughs. "First of all, your to young, second of all, I'm a man, I'm not aloud inside" If your really the Hero of Time you are.

"Really?" I ask. "Have you ever been there?" he shakes his head, lying. "Really? All that time being a knight, and you've never seen Gerudo Town.... Has mom?" he freezes. "I don't think so... I'll have to ask her. But your not going to Gerudo Town. It's dangerous outside of Hyrule Field...." he comments. Dangerous. Right. Sure.... I believe that.... "What about Zora's Domain? Don't you have friends there" he raises an eyebrow. "You know what? If you really want to go somewhere, I'll take you to Zora's Domain after I get back. I promise" he tells me. My face falls. "You're leaving again" he sighs. "I'm sorry sweet heart. But it really isn't my choice. I wish it was" he says. I can tell he means it. I smile sadly, and nod. "I'll come down in a bit. I'm gonna check out that sword again. It's so cool!" I insist. He chuckles and leaves.

I close the door behind him, lock it, and pull out the sword and shield. I wonder.... I touch the sword, and the triforce glows even brighter than it did before. "Interesting" I comment, pulling out a piece of paper and drawing the sword and shield. "Very interesting in deed" I grab the sword, and stand up. "What are you?" I ask it. I don't expect it to answer. But, surprisingly, it does. A bright light engulfs the room, and I'm thrown back against he wall. When I look up, there' s woman (?) spirit (?) in front of me. She had light blue skin and dark blue hair. A blue cape falls down her shoulder, and she wears a navy blue outfit with diamonds cut out of it. She's floating on air, and I look up at her, in awe, jumping to me feet. "My name is Navi. I am the spirit of The Sword of Six Sages" her voice seems to echo, just a bit, as she speaks. "I was once a fairy. One that helped your father on his first quest" she tells me.

"Why are you hear?" I ask, backing up against the wall. "I am hear to help young one" she touches my cheek with her hand. "You are destined to be the next hero..... please, believe me" she says to me. "I came to help you on your quest. Which will soon be set in motion young one. I need to help you find your way. To find them...." she tells me. "What is threatening Hyrule?" I ask her. She looks at me, almost sadly. "I cannot tell you that, not yet. But it is a great evil, that will plague this land.... only you will be able to stop it" I nod slowly. "What can I do?" I ask. She lets out what I think is a laugh. "You are just like your father. Heroic at heart. Full of courage..... As for your quest. I tell you this. Your grandmother will help you find your path. She knows who you are" she says. "If you ever need me. Call on me, and I shall help you. Keep the sword" she says. "And the shield" she picks up the shield, and hands it to me. The jem in the center begins to glow gold and red, and I almost drop it. "Keep them until you find the sword that seals the darkness. Only then will they fail you" Then she disappears, leaving me alone once again.
