After several calls, Luke finally made contact with Ashton, by the afternoon.

Although Luke was extremely irritated with his friend, for leaving him stranded for an entire night. He said he would avoid having an argument about it.

Ashton told him that we needed to catch a ride to somewhere near where he lived and he would meet us there. They discussed whether the meeting area would be a train station or a restaurant they went to as kids. Luke didn't quite remember the area very well, so they decided on the station.

We rushed to the substation so we wouldn't miss the train, but we actually made it there about five minutes early.

Sitting on the train, we were mostly silent, still trying to catch my breath, it was obvious I was really out of shape.

"I think I should start working out." I barely laugh.

He looked down at me for a moment before shaking his head. "No." Is all he said.

I shrugged, continuing to enjoy the ride.

Luke let out a sigh. "I'm so pissed off at Ashton right now. You have no idea."

"Maybe it was important." I told him.

He shook his head. "It just makes me mad. You were at the bed and breakfast sleeping, and I called him at the library, I said I was coming and he said it was okay."

I didn't know what else to say, so I just told him I was sorry.

"Don't be, it's not your fault."

Still I didn't know what to say, but he looked at me waiting for me to speak.

Before I could say a word, his eyebrows furrowed before he spoke, "Did you hurt yourself last night?"

I shook my head, "Why?"

"You have a small scratch on your nose.. Wait, that's just dirt." He said pulling his sleeve and whipping the tip of my nose. "There. Beautiful." He smiled.

I barely smiled, so I wouldn't look like a dork. I already knew my cheeks were tuning a light pink, and I think he noticed.

He chuckled, "Do I make you nervous?"

I continued to smile, but only looked away. That was my way of saying yes.

I heard another chuckle, and that was the last thing he said that train ride.

Luke's POV

When we got off the train, we stood for a moment wondering which way to go, because Ashton was no where to be seen.

I looked around for a moment. I was about to suggest that we start to walk down a little but when I looked down, she was no longer at my side.

Naturally, on the inside, I went in panic mode, but I told myself I knew how much that irritated her.

I calmly looked around, and very quickly, I saw the red headed girl, walking towards the map of the station.

She's a lot smarter than me, and doesn't even know it.

I was just about to follow behind, but then I noticed the few teen boys to the right. All looking at Nezbit.

At the time being, I couldn't tell if they were checking her out, just looking at her, or maybe looking past her. But all of their heads followed her as she walked, and I didn't like it.

Don't get extremely protective, she hates that.

So what was I to do? Claim her.

How did I do that though?
