Luke's POV
I jumped out of bed quickly while the high pitched irritable noise rung I my ears. I pressed button after button but the ringing never stops. Finally I unplugged the damn alarm and let out a sigh. I swear that damn thing gave me a minor heart attack.
I breathed heavily.
Who the fuck would invent such a terrible device, let alone own one?
I looked towards Nezbit. I had expected her to be sitting up with the same scared expression as me, but instead, she was still in the bed, dreaming of what ever it is that fifteen year old girls dream of. Maybe it was a boy, the newest clothes, or even what we might be doing that day.
I felt kind of bad to be honest. I dragged her around everywhere, and I had yet to sit down and just have a conversation with her. She must of been confused, and unsure of things. She must be confused with life actually! I can't believe she actually came with me. But I wouldn't question it.
I'd been lonely ever since Molly has been gone. I think I always need at least one vibrant sole with me, just to keep company, to make me laugh.
I sighed as I pushed myself out of bed and got to the laundry room. I opened the dryer where I last put both Nezbit and my clothes when she went to dry her hair last night. I had more of my clothes in, I had more dirty clothes than Nez.
I fold all of the clothes and take them with me to the room. I grabbed a shirt and some pants from the pile, and took the only outfit of Nezbit's out. I sat Nezbit's clothes on the nightstand next to her.
I went to eat some cereal, I would have though after all the movement I had made in the room, that Nezbit would have woken up, but she didn't. I went into the room and start to rub her shoulder.
"Nezbit." I said.
She wouldn't budge. It was weird, all the guys that I've had to wake up, I just kick them in the arse or yell in their face or something. Molly would wake up as soon as I stood up, so I was kinda new to this "being nice while waking people up" thing.
"Nezbit!" I repeated for the fifth time.
She groaned, signalling she was awake.
I watched to make sure she didn't go back to sleep.
She touched her face with her eyes closed tight.
"Come on." I encouraged while rubbing her arm still.
She huffed.
"Sorry... I left your clothes here for you, there's a bowel on the kitchen counter with a spoon, the milk is in the fridge and the cereal is on top of it."
"Kay." She said sleepily.
"Calum gave you an extra toothbrush, right?" I asked.
"Yeah."
"Take it when we leave, alright?"
"Kay."
"Alright, I'm gonna go brush my teeth, I want you up when I'm done, okay?"
"Kay."
I nodded awkwardly, even though her eyes were still closed. I walked out of the room.
That was kinda weird.
Nezbit's POV
When I heard the click of the door, I sighed, while rubbing my eyes. I forced myself up, and looked at the clothes that Luke left on the nightstand.
It was the same clothes as yesterday. In all honesty, I would've liked to wear different clothes, but I didn't have the energy to go through my bag.
