Finally the plane was starting to move. For the first time I was flying. I was all excited for it, that was until the flight attendant started talk about the safety precautions and I realized how dangerous a plane really was.

I try to act normal.

"Nez," Luke says. "Have you ever been on a plane before?"

"Psh." I shrug. "Yeah. Why do you ask. I've been a plane before, this stuff is easy." I lie.

"Well, I ask because you've went almost completely white." He says looking at me with amusement.

I don't say anything, I only tell my self repetitively "it will be okay".

"You can hold my hand if you'd like." He offers.

I look down at the armrest where his hand rested, open, and inviting mine over.

"No." I answer. "I'm not scared."

"What ever you say." Luke with the same smug smile curved into his lips.

Moments pass, and the captain comes onto the speakers.

"Alrighty passengers, this is the last reminder to have our seat belts buckled, well be taking off in just a second."

I take a deep breath, just as the plane starts to ramble. I panic and grab Luke's hand quickly. He chuckles with satisfaction, but I don't find this funny at all.

"Luke, I'm sorry, we can't go. I don't want to anymore." I whisper quickly.

"Nezbit." He smiles, "They aren't going to stop the whole plane-"

"We can tell them I have to pee!"

"There's a bathroom on the plane." He chuckles. "I'll tell you what, I'll see if the women behind us has the anxiety drink I think she had earlier."

"They have that?" I ask.

He nods.

"Then yes, yes."

"Okay." He says before looking behind him.

I hear him talk, but I couldn't make out the words. I wait, eagerly, until he turns and has a bottle in his hand.

"Drink it fast." He says. "I'm not even sure we're allowed to have it on the plane."

I do as I'm told, and shriek while crunching my nose at the liquid. "That taste like medicine!"

"Oh really?" He ask. "How strange!" He says in a sarcastic tone.

I gasp. "What did you give me?!"

"I donno, but it knocked her kids out." He shrugs.

"How dare you- Oh my God we're flying!"

"Yeah."

"Oh my God, Luke!" I smile. "Oh my God!"

He had a smile on his face, but still shooshsed me. "There are other people on the plane." He explained.

"Oh, right." I whispered back.

I leaned against the window, and the world beneath me got smaller, and smaller. By this time, I had totally forgot all about the safety precautions that had frightened me in the first place. So if the plane went down, Luke was my only hope.

Just after a few minutes, I was drifting to sleep, obviously due to the medicine Luke gave to me.

When I wake up, I find that my fears, hadn't came true. The plane was still flying and Luke wasn't dead. I didn't think so at least, it looked like he was just sleeping.. Yep, he is still breathing.
