My Light In The Dark

Part 10

Thomas's POV:

Y/n was safe in the homestead with me
and Newt.. but we still had a problem.. We didn't know where Minho was in all the cautious?

He was supposed to be at the map room with y/n but when I got to y/n she said Minho went after the glader that set the map room on fire..

We were all waiting in the homestead for Minho to comeback..

Then suddenly the door to the homestead burst OPEN revealing Minho bruised.. y/n had tears in her eyes when she saw Minho she got up and ran to him embracing him in a hug..

Y/n sobbed to Minho and said "Your ok.

"Did you go after the person who set the map room on fire?" She asked.

I looked at Minho and said "Someone set the map room on fire?"

"Where they trying to destroy the maps?"

Minho looked at me, Newt and then looked at y/n..

"I know who set the map room on fire.
I chased after them. We got into a fight."

Newt looked at Minho this time and asked him "Where are they know?"
"Who set the map room on fire?"

Minho looked at both Newt and Tommy..

"Gally. He set the map room on fire."

I could feel the anger surge through Tommy when he heard Gally's name..

We hear another noise from the door of the homestead Newt goes to check and sees all the grievers are gone..

Newt comes in and tells everyone that it's safe..

We all go back to the glade..

Y/n looks over and sees Gally coming toward Newt Minho and Tommy..

I grab Newt's shirt tugging on it and pointing.. Tommy sees who not what I'm pointing at before Newt does..

Tommy storms over toward Gally before he can say anything Tommy takes his fist and lands a punch square at Gally's jaw..

I hear Tommy yelling which is scary "YOU COULD'VE KILLED HER IN THAT FIRE!"

Gally looks at me then at Tommy and says "I didn't think she was going to be anywhere near the map room."

Minho is next to speak "Why did you set the map room on fire?"

Gally looks at all of us and says "We don't need the maps.. We are never going to leave."

Y/n looked at Minho remembering a conversation she heard Tommy and Minho have one day in the runner's hut.

FLASHBACK:

Thomas POV

How important are the maps?

Like what happens if they get destroyed?

Minho looked at Thomas not realizing that y/n was outside listening to the conversation..

Minho POV

The maps are the only thing we have to hopefully get us out of the glade..

We have a backup if they are destroyed..

The maps will be safe if anything or anyone wants to destroy them..

PRESENT TIME IN THE GLADE:

Minho had a plan if something happened to the maps..

If the maps weren't destroyed in the fire.

Where were the maps?
