Part 25

                     Thomas's (POV)

Mitch and I arrived at the council hall for the gathering.. as soon as I'm in the room I look to see which of the keepers are in the meeting with us.

I see Winston keeper of the slicers, Minho keeper of the Runners, Newt keeper of the gardens, Zart keeper of the track hoes, Clint keeper of the medjacks, and Gally keeper of the builders..

Newt is sat in the center of the council hall.

I'm sat in a chair Mitch is next to me and (Y/N) is on my lap because Mitch said that Newt told him. "(Y/N) has to be at the meeting as well."

So here we are in another shuck council hall meeting..

                  Newt's (POV)

Alright let's get this bloody council hall meeting to order..

Now we are just hear to talk about what Ben and Hunter said about Thomas and (Y/N) I want to here what everyone thinks..

Clint why don't you start Newt says to every glader in the room.

Clint looks around the room.. then said "Well Thomas is a great guy and he's always nice.. and (Y/N) she always brings us apples from the garden."

That made both of Thomas and (Y/N) feel good they had gladers on their side.

A few more gladers from Chuck, to Winston and even Minho were on their side saying "(Y/N) isn't dangerous and Thomas can be trusted."

Newt took down notes from all the keepers..

When finally it was Gally's turn. (Y/N) was terrified because of the last time the gladers had a council hall meeting and he grabbed her..

Gally looked around the room and finally said "I've said it many times before but none of you shanks listened to me.." "Thomas arrives nothing really unusual then little greenbean arrives and everything goes shucking wrong."

"She runs into the maze twice breaking our number one rule twice then not one but two gladers blurt that Thomas put us all here and this little shuckface is dangerous to all of us."

In a matter of seconds Tommy is on his feet and (Y/N) hears the sound of a fist connecting with bone. Mitch holding him back.

"Call her a shuckface one more time I promise I won't miss next time!" Tommy yells at Gally

Suddenly Newt brings the council meeting to order.. he looks at Gally

"Are finished you Captain Gally?" Gally smirked in response..

After the hit from Thomas.. Newt called the meeting to over..

Thomas,(Y/N),Minho,Newt, and Mitch were all sitting down for dinner.

"That was crazy how you hit Gally Tommy." Newt said.

"Yeah. They way everytime Gally mentions (Y/N) and you lose it.. I would almost think that you would have a connection to each other." Minho says

"I just wish I could figure out what that connection is." Thomas said

                       Y/N'S (POV)

After the craziness in council hall I stay with Newt. Tommy and Minho are running the maze..

Mitch is playing with Asher.. when suddenly she feels a tap on the shoulder (Y/N) turns to see Newt he looks a little out of breath..

"(Y/N) I need you to listen to me really carefully go find Mitch. Get Asher. Have Mitch help you pack a bag." Newt says

I'm confused pack a bag? Aren't we staying here? Before I can ask any questions.. I see Minho and Tommy arrive from running the maze..

I jog over to Tommy as he's heading to the runner's shack.. I know I'm not aloud so I wait until Tommy comes out and ask "Tommy Newt told me that I should go pack a bag? And that we are leaving the glade?" I look up him just as Minho exits the runner shack "Is it true?" I ask both of them.

Flashback with Thomas:

Minho and I ran the maze until we made it to section 7 and that's when we found it making the same turns (Y/N) did in the maze when she ran the maze..

As soon we arrived at section 7 we went down the long corridor and we discovered the way out of the maze..

Flashback ends with Thomas

                    Thomas's (POV)

"Yes we found a way out." I told (Y/N)

"So that means we are getting out of here?" (Y/N) asked..

But before I can tell her"yes."

I hear an evil laugh that I feel like I should recognize..

I look around the forest but don't see anyone..

I feel (Y/N) grab my shirt I can feel how scared she is..

I try to figure out how I can feel what
(Y/N) is feeling what was the source of that evil laugh?

I'm pulled from my thoughts with Mitch, Newt, Minho, Jeff, Clint, and Chuck saying that they are ready to go.. I make sure her bag is packed Asher is right next to (Y/N) and we are off into the maze.

A short while after entering the maze going right then left then right again then left again we arrived at section 7.. and we entered the corridor where we saw the man he looked he had a rat face.

Next to him was the women from the last time the gladers were in the maze.

The first to speak to the group "We commend you all on making it this far. Sadly this isn't the last trial you have to face.. remember Wicked is Good."

The man finally spoke and it sent a chilling shiver down (Y/N'S) spine..

"We'll at least we have a few subjects. Plus we have the two special ones that share the special pain connection."

After both the man and woman spoke they disappeared further down the hall.

Thomas looked at everyone but held
(Y/N) close..

"Well that was weird."Minho said.

"What the bloody hell do they mean by more trials?" Newt asked.

"I don't know. But I know we can face whatever these shanks throw at us together." Thomas said..

The gladers get ready to go through the exit when Gally suddenly appeared.

He had been stung.. he was saying he belongs to maze that they all do.

When suddenly (Y/N) heard it a gunshot.

Mitch grabbed her protecting her from any bullets flying in there direction..

I'm shocked to see who took the bullet on the ground is Ben why would he take a bullet for (Y/N) he said she was dangerous.

But that's not all that shocks (Y/N) in the chaos Minho had thrown his spear and it landed in Gally's chest..

Before the gladers can react the door suddenly opens and big men in uniform drag all the gladers to a helicopter..

(Y/N) sits next to Thomas..

When one of the men takes their masks off saying "It's ok you're safe now."

(Y/N) is the only one that notices the letters WCKD on the men's uniforms..

The lady (POV)

We'll I think the maze trials were a complete success..
I didn't except so many survivors.. but having Thomas and (Y/N) means their special connection is strong just like we thought..

Now time for phase two..
