Part 24

Y/N'S (POV)

I woke up the feeling of soft fur on my hand I look over and see Asher resting her head on my hand.. I laugh happy Asher is still close by.

I decide to get up and go see what is happening around the glade..

I'm dressed in my usual outfit of faded purple shirt blue jeans and short boots.

I walk around the glade and it's strangely quiet the gladers were working like normal but (Y/N) could feel something was off..

I saw the usual Frypan was in the kitchen.
Winston was getting done at the slicers.
Clint and Jeff were organizing the medjack hut..
(Y/N) couldn't see Gally anywhere and she was fine with that..

But the gladers (Y/N) hadn't seen so far where Tommy, Mitch, Newt and Minho.

"Where are they?" (Y/N) thought..

Suddenly (Y/N) noticed all the keepers gathering near the main door of the maze.. "why are they all near the maze entrance? What are they doing?"
Questions swirled through (Y/N'S) head..

She then noticed a few familiar figures coming toward the door Hunter and Ben being dragged by other gladers.. Newt then Minho then Mitch and then Tommy appeared..

(Y/N) started to go where Tommy was when she heard him talk to Newt "(Y/N) is asleep in my hammock still so she won't see this scary scene."

"Good that. She's seen enough scary if not terrifying things at her young age." Newt said..

(Y/N) sat hidden just out of sight of the gladers..

Other gladers brought Ben and Hunter in then Newt and Minho stepped forward. "Ben and Hunter of the builders you both will be banished to the maze forever for attack on the greenbean (Y/N)." Newt said to them.

"Is there anything you both want to say before you are banished for good?" Minho asked

Thomas braced himself prepared himself not to go charging towards the two gladers if they said anything about about (Y/N)..

Both Ben and Hunter opened their mouths and said "Thomas and (Y/N) are connected somehow.." At the mention of (Y/N) Thomas wanted to go after the two gladers ask them what they knew.. then something terrifying was said from both gladers "(Y/N) is dangerous don't trust the little shank! Thomas put every single one of us here in the maze!" They both yelled..

Hearing (Y/N'S) name sent Thomas over the edge.. he charged toward both gladers but Mitch held him back.

(Y/N) sat there shocked how could this be Tommy's fault.. how was she dangerous.. why shouldn't the gladers trust her..

She couldn't think straight she took off toward the treehouse.. her safe place..

Thomas's (POV)

Ben and Hunter were banished to the maze shortly after their accusation of
(Y/N) being dangerous and me sending everyone into the maze..

Everyone went there separate ways..

I decided to head the treehouse figuring (Y/N) was up there and she looked scared as soon as

I climbed up the ladder. I saw (Y/N) was crying.. "Hey Snowflake what's wrong?"

(Y/N) looked up at me and responded "TOMMY both Hunter and Ben think that you are the reason that everyone is here in the maze." And they're saying I'm dangerous."

"Tommy I don't understand what they are talking about. Why do they think you put them here in the maze? Why do they think I'm dangerous?" (Y/N) looked at me scared.

My heart sank she had heard and seen everything at the banishing of Hunter and Ben..

(Y/N) came close to me and I hugged her..

I was still up in the treehouse with
(Y/N) when I heard the ladder creak like someone was coming up.. (Y/N) was looking out over the glade.. I went over to the hatch and saw Mitch on the ladder..

"Thomas did you find (Y/N)?" He asked me.

"Yeah. I found her." I responded.

"What's going on Mitch?" I asked only loud enough for him to hear.

"Newt has called a gathering because of what Ben and Hunter said before being banished into the maze." Mitch said..

"What will happen at this gathering" Thomas thought..
