Ch. 44: New Plan

Spencer James

"You were right Pops..." Spencer heaved a big sigh as he sat down on the couch next to Olivia. "It's all startin' to make sense now" he shook his head in disappointment.

"Wait, what do you mean?" Olivia inquired as she placed a hand on Spencer's knee.

"I couldn't figure out what, but I had a feelin' somethin' was off about Mr. Williams. The timing of everything just felt weird. I mean I knew at some point Spencer's business plans would take off, but not this quick. I mean during the lowest moment of his life, this all of a sudden happens" Mr. A explained as he stared at the photos. "I don't know why Mr. Williams is pictured with BH, but I feel the reason isn't a good one" he continued.

"And I'ma find out why" Spencer shifted in his seat. "Both of them got a death wish, that's for sure" he shook his head once again.

"No, let's not do anything stupid, son" Mr. A said and Olivia agreed.

"Why don't we send it in as an anonymous tip?" Olivia inquired. "I mean we have proof of BH confessing to the hit. We now have these photos and though we can't confirm anything, I'm sure it would be helpful" she explained.

"I think that would be a great idea" Mr. A agreed. "Just have someone send an anonymous tip and have the law take care of it. I mean the dude is a known criminal and shouldn't be out on the streets" he continued.

"I can't just have anyone send an anonymous tip. They would've had to have been there when the activity took place. It has to at least be reliable" Spencer said.

"I'll do it" Olivia volunteered. "I was there during the shooting in the parking lot at the event, I was there when they started a fire, messed up your car, and shot you here. I was there during the exchange of bullets when we were leaving the club after the plan. I'm a reliable source, Spencer" she explained as she could see the look of hesitancy on his face.

"She's going to be fine, Spencer" Mr. A assured. "Just have her place the tip, not on her phone, but maybe somewhere else" he said.

"Wait a minute, what about the neighbor from across the street" Olivia snapped her finger.

"Ms. Trudy?" Mr. A mentioned and Oliva nodded her head.

"She heard the shots and came out to help Spencer when he was on the ground" Olivia explained. "I'm sure she wouldn't mind helping out" she continued.

"I don't want to get neither of you involved in all honestly" Spencer spoke out. 

"She would just report what happened on her end. She could tweak her story just a little bit and you can give her the description of the vehicle, since you saw it" Olivia said.

"So you want this older woman to lie to the police?" Spencer raised an eyebrow.

"Let's not act like you haven't omitted a few things to cover your own ass. I mean what did you tell them when they questioned you at the hospital?" Olivia questioned.

"She got you right there" Mr. A chuckled as Spencer shook his head.

"Alright...so we'll get Ms. Trudy to give an anonymous tip about the shooting. But, what would we do with the audio?" Spencer inquired.

"After Ms. Trudy submits her anonymous tip, I'll go to a library and send another one through email so her story could be proved as reliable. The email will include the audio" Olivia said.

"Wait, but what about the pictures?" Mr. A inquired.

"Now that I think about it, we should hold onto to them. The photos of BH and Mr. Williams, don't prove anything just yet. For all we know, it could've been a heated discussion. The reason why they were together in the first place, we still don't know" Olivia said and Spencer agreed.
