I end up wearing a pair of shorts and a dark blue top with a denim jacket. That's about as good as it's gonna get I think as I look at my wavy brunette hair and my odd shaped body in the mirror. I tell Mum I'm going on a study date and leave before she can ask any questions.

I stand outside Charlie's house for about 5 minutes before I work up the courage to knock. For a few seconds nothing happens, expecting I've been set up because it was to good to be true I turn and start to leave when the door opens. Charlie's standing their in a plain black t-shirt with a grey hoodie and sweat pants on yet he pulls it off. I'm invited in and I awkwardly sit on the large lounge in the front room. Charlie has his books set out on the wooden coffee table with large glasses of lemonade.

We've been studying for an hour when Charlie suggests a break I quickly agree because I've realised he must be a straight 'A' student and be thinking I'm an idiot.

We are just chatting when he moves closer to me. He kisses me. Not knowing what to do I kiss him back.

I'm confused. His hands start going up my shirt. His strong, warm hands. My skin is starting to tingle. I don't know what's happening, I've never been kissed like this before.
