Two years later...
ALLEY POV
"Mummy! Mummy!" Emma came running into the kitchen. I placed one hand on my aching back and the other atop my pregnant stomach.
"I'm gonna get ya" Charlie came crawling in on all fours chasing Emma around the kitchen.
Charlie then caught Emma and began tickling and kissing her as she giggled.
I ran my hands through his scruffy hair and he kissed my forehead with Emma sandwiched between us.
The pain of loosing my parents haunts me everyday yet Charlie and Emma make me feel better.
Charlie and I have both graduated and I'm at university. We still live in my family home. The judging looks have decreased but maybe I just don't notice anymore.
