"Happy Birthday Emma!" Charlie brought out the chocolate cake he made and put in front of our beautiful one year old. We had a little family party in the back yard. Just a few friends and family.
Emma's beautiful birthday dress didn't last long. After the cake she was running around in her nappy. Covered in chocolate icing. Giggling and playing with Charlie. They get along so well, it's because Charlie is a child anyway.
The beginning of our story was unfortunate but I wouldn't wish for it any other way. Now watching as Em climbs through her baby tunnel saying "Boo" to Charlie at both ends, I'm happy with my little family.
