Isa's POV
----

"I'll see you in a bit. You know Jacob's here. You need anything, call me, okay?" Kyzer says as he kisses me and hangs up the phone.

"Okay. Text me what you want for dinner so I can go grocery shopping. Don't forget." I say, kissing him while fixing up his tie.

"I won't. I'll be back. Love you. I'll call you in a few hours."

"Love you too." I say back.

Then he walks out the door and goes downstairs, walking through the lobby to get to the big white doors of the house as I follow behind. He leaves out the door and looks back at me, with a smirk followed by a wink, and I smile and shut the door.

I go to the kitchen and I grab a bag of grapes and a bowl. I take a small vine of grapes and some off other vines, and I put them in a bowl before washing them and putting the bag back in the refrigerator. I start my walk to the living room and I sit down and turn on the TV.

"Kyzer gone off to work?" Jacob asks as his feet thump against the stairs and into the living room, standing next to the TV.

"Yeah. He just left." I say, still looking at the show on TV.

He sits on the far side of the couch and props his feet up on the table.

"What're we watching?" he asks, stealing a grape from me.

"Hey!" I say, smiling. "It's called Good Girls." I say, looking back at the TV.

"You're probably just watching it for Rio."

"Okay, listen, Rio's hot, I'm not gonna lie, but I just enjoy the show altogether." I say, shrugging.

"Yeah, yeah." he says, taking another one of my grapes.

"Listen, you take another one of my grapes, I'm gonna kill you." I say, pointing at him.

"Wow. I'm terrified." he says sarcastically, taking another grape.

"Jacoooob!" I say, snatching my bowl from him.

"Okay. Fine." he says, sitting back and watching TV.

After hours of watching TV, I'm asleep in bed. My phone starts to ring so I wake up, feeling for my phone. I pick up tiredly and I answer.

"Hello?" I say.

"Hi." Ky's voice comes.

A small smile appears on my face.

"Ky." I say, turning over and humming as I stretch.

"You were asleep?"

"How'd you know?"

"I can hear it in your voice. Plus you always do that little thing when you stretch really good. Sounds like-"

"Don't even." I say, laughing.

"I wasn't." he says, a smile clear in his voice. We share a moment of quick silence and he sighs and speaks again. "How have you been since I've been gone?"
