Kyzer's POV:

With Isa's hand in mine, we head downstairs. When we reach the bottom of the staircase, I look over into the living room and Nate and Braxton lie on the couch on their phones. I look into the kitchen and Milo, Peyton, Ice, Carter, and Nile stand in the kitchen. There's some chick here too.

I let go of Isa's hand and I walk into the kitchen.

"Ice. Can I borrow you for a second?" I ask, trying to stay as calm as I can.

He nods his head and sips the coffee in his cup as he walks over to the lobby.

"I'm gonna go in the living room." Isa say.

I nod my head. "Okay." I say.

"What's up?" Ice says, sipping his coffee.

"Why are Braxton and Nate still here? More specifically Nate. And more importantly, who's the chick in the kitchen?"

"Carter's one night stand." Ice says, shrugging. "You know Carter."

"Yeah. Okay, now that that's solved, let's talk about Nate."

"Oh yeah, he and Braxton thought they'd just stay and help out. I mentioned the Reign's to them and they wanted to help."

"Well I suppose that's fine. The more, the better."

"Same thoughts. Is that all?"

"Actually, no. I need you to get Milo to trace this number and get an I.D off it."

"Yeah, of course. What's it about?"

"Someone wants to meet ten hours away for a 'business proposal'. I don't fucking buy it."

"Yeah. That does sound a little suspicious, especially because it didn't come through Kelsey first."

"Yeah."

"Anyway, I got this. I'll give this to Milo."

"Thanks." I say, walking into the living room.

I sit next to Isa and after a few minutes, I get a call. Without checking the contact name, I pick it up, holding it to my ear.

"Sir, you have a visitor here at the base." Kelsey says.

"Visitor? Who?"

"Don't know. Said he had to leave something for you and that he wanted to give it to you personally. He refused to leave until he got it to you, so I sent him to your office."

"Have my men on guard. Don't make it obvious, Kels. I'm on my way."

I hang up just as Isa's face contorts.

"Where are you headed?"

"To the base. Someone's there. This day just keeps getting weirder."

"Can I come?"

"Yeah, come on."

She gets up and puts her shoes on, then follows me to the door. I grab our coats from the coat rack and I hand hers to her.
