When I got there the cops were still there

I opened the door, tears all over my face

"There you are." the cop comes up to me "Just take me, I need to suffer," I say, he stood there in silence for a second, I don't know why I said this— "I had killed my friend," I say standing there

They arrest me. I was in jail for 1 week it was like living in hell, but honestly, I deserved it

But I had to live in here for 10 years of my life.

—Jail—

"Hey why are you here," a girl asked me "I murdered someone." I glanced at her, she immediately got up and walked away, acted scared like... like I was gonna do something to her.

Did I look crazy?

I wasn't I just didn't mean to sound like that.

A lot of people asked the same question I had weird reactions but only one good one

"Hello! So why are you in here?" A girl asks me "I had murdered someone," I answer "That's fine," she said I looked at her "Why are you here?" I asked her "I steal a lot so they caught me. I stole a $7,000 ring one time.. but when they found out it was stolen they put me in here," she says disappointed and it seems like she misses a lot of people

"I am going to be here for like 5 more days now," she looked at me "But you killed someone," .. she stares at me "I shortened the jail time that's all." I lied. I didn't I gave myself a 2-week warm-up before I broke out.

I was gonna do it. I wasn't gonna let myself be there any longer I couldn't go without seeing my dog. Wondering how? I'm not gonna break out! My mom is gonna bail me

But she wanted to show me what jail felt like

Why? It's because she hates me. I know she does

I hate her more.

She's always like this-

"Aurelia, come with us," one of the cops say while the other stands behind him.

What's going on...

The girl... well I never got her name she watched me walk away

I see my mother waiting for me. I sit down where we see our family or others in jail...

"Hello," my mother says the first word while I stare at her and soon say "Mom," I sigh deeply "I missed you, but I was wondering if my dogs were ok," my mom widens her eyes "Did you not wanna know if I was ok?" She has a raspy voice

She wanted to yell at me but she knew it wouldn't be appropriate

"Mom, you know how important my dogs are to me," 
I answer

She is not gonna want to bail me out.

She got up and said while walking away "I'll do it." It's like she knew what I was gonna ask after. She looks back at me for a second and I get up,

Following the cops. I see my cell

It felt great to be out.

I went in and I fell asleep I haven't slept for days

I waited and waited for my mom

While I had to wait I just talked to the girl who kept me company.

"So how's it been, in here..." she says looking around disgusted like she's been here for the first time. "It sucks," I reply "I know right," she says in a high pitched girly voice like she was being sarcastic "I really do hate it here." She continues

I still never got her name, it's like she was a blur. Like she wasn't real. The only thing we did was talk to each other, never gave each other names.

I felt like I was crazy

Days and days later she actually did it and I got out.. luckily

We are driving home

"Honey I can't always do this for you—" I stop my mom from talking "shut up I don't care mom I just wanna get home," I say in a low voice "if you say so Aurelia.." she says while sighing.

I was a little mad, it was very aggravating to see her, she acted like she cares when she doesn't.

We get home and she drops me off "Bye!" She waves I don't wave back.

I go in and Casper is waiting for me excitedly.

I am finally home, I sit on the couch exhausted. I think.

What do I do?

House

"I'm going out by Aurelia!" her mom waves goodbye "Bye mom." Aurelia watches her leave.. she's left with her older 18-year-old brother ...

"Hey sis," Her brother comes into the room she's in "Go away," she says backing away from him "No, come here." he grabs her hand .. starts kissing her she's trying to push him off "Please get off of me now!!" Aurelia yells and tries to get him away

He takes off her clothes "Please stop it!" she continues to yell.. he chuckles

Does things to her.

"That felt amazing," her brother says "you asshole.. why do you do this to me?" She says going into the kitchen, she doesn't know what to go and panics so she starts to cry and realizes "Hey come here let's do it some more," he goes to her

She grabs a knife.. while he's walking up to her.. she stabs him in the chest. She was panicking.

"Aurelia-" he drops to the ground

"Brother," she says staring at him bleed out. She was breathing heavily

After hours her mom comes home ...

Aurelia is sitting on the couch her mother sees her and goes to see her brother she walks down to the basement "oh honey I have to tell you this story that happened—" she stops when she doesn't see him "Hmph, where is he?" She goes back up

"Where's your brother, Aurelia," she looks at Aurelia waiting for a response "Have you seen him?" Aurelia breaks her stare and looks at her mother "In the kitchen," Aurelia says low staring at her mother "I don't hear him are you sure-" she stops and sees his body on the ground

"He touched me.. weirdly," Aurelia says while almost bursting into tears" Aurelia... how could you?" She says in a very shaky voice .. she runs up to me in anger "He would never do such a thing,"

She grabs Aurelia and yells at her, throws her around, beating her up "You bitch! I hate you stupid child" she yells at Aurelia while beating her.

Aurelia saw her mom crying a lot. She had realized what she done. Other kids would be too scared to do this, that she wasn't normal

She stopped and Aurelia had cuts and bruises.

But it was better than death so she didn't care

—reality—

I sigh not knowing what to do. but just being reminded I killed Kenley.

My dog Casper fell asleep on me... I pet him slowly.. dazing off

I wish a miracle could happen

After a while Casper gets up and starts barking, he goes up to my back door, and there it is what he's barking at .. a puppy oh god!

Of course, I have to take it in.

It's a beautiful baby it's very young, I couldn't tell what kind but it could walk
