Naruto's POV
"What is happening Hinata? why do we have to gather in the cafeteria?" I ask Hinata rubbing my eyelids that are now puffy. Hinata shrugs her shoulders and says,"I don't know."
The big cafeteria is enough to bear all the freshmen leaving quite some space. Seniors are also can be seen who are peeking through the large wooden doors and windows made from glass. There were no teachers who informed us about any kind of gatherings or anything. This is rather sudden.
Students are whispering and gossiping. I'm in a foul mood waking up earlier than usual. This isn't the usual time for us students to come to the school campus.
"Silence!" A voice echoed through the cafeteria. The whispering stops immediately. The voice sounded strict and powerful. The familiar faces make themselves in. Seeing the student council members in front of the gathering even before the school hour didn't put us in ease.
"Good morning freshmen." The familiar cold voice. Sasuke Uchiha is standing in front of everyone facing us standing straight. The red coats with golden buttons on them look so elegant and make them different even by their appearances.
The coats we are wearing are in blue with silver buttons. The president Sasuke Uchiha is the one with two different badges on his coat that no other council member owns.
"I apologize for announcing a sudden gathering and waking you up abruptly." His apology didn't even seem sincere because of his stone hard expression. People could mistake him for a porcelain doll because of his pale skin and nice features. He's too beautiful to be a man. I can't help but admire his beauty even being a fellow male.
"This is a ritual for freshmen every year that we started off. This is rather fun." Saying that he chuckles. What is there to be amused of? He says,"We are arranging a welcoming party for freshmen. A party that you could never experience in any other place except for Konoha High."
"This party is exceptional. The students who are now seniors had an experience last year and all of them was so amazed that they can never forget the night." His lips moves upward making a smile.
All of them have the same expressions on their faces. Is the party that amazing that they have that look on their faces? But the heavy atmosphere is still there and the pressure is too much.
"I'll leave you to wonder about the upcoming party that is going to be placed tonight. I'll hand you the invitation cards, you can only enter if you show them to the guards. Nobody should skip this party....nobody." He looked serious.
Soon we got the invitation cards in our hands that were distributed by them. In a red envelope with some classic designs on them. This looks fancy for just an invitation card.
"The address and the timetable is written on a card inside the envelope along with the invitation card. Keep the card with you when you come. Coming to the party is compulsory."
After the sudden invitation to a party, we make our ways to our classes hurriedly. Everyone seemed curious. "The timing is odd, Isn't it Naruto Kun?" Hinata says eyeing the card. The party is tonight after the gate closing time of our dormitories which is after 10 pm. Which school gives permission to these type of parties right inside the campus?
The invitation card looks odd too. The rectangular black card with word written on it which is in golden colour. There's just one word which is 'Welcome'. I have a bad feeling that I want to skip this party badly but when they said it is compulsory, I could never skip it.

"Naruto Kun?" Hinata speaks making me startled. Actually I was waiting for her. It isn't just us who are here in this school field in this odd hour at night but the whole group of freshmen is here too. I'm shaking to my bone feeling really cold. This is the usual time for snowfall. I wonder when it will get started.
